hello, whenever i log out of the game my ui resets to the default position(hp bar/buffs etc) any way to fix this? thanks
so after a little research i noticed that if you modify the windowsinfo.ini in the system folder to change the position of the windows, the file just resets after you exit and start the client again(i thought this was fixed since it was an old and known issue in ncsoft). but i somehow managed to save some of the window positions although i can't reproduce the effect. what i did was: change window positions -> restart to character select screen -> enter game(at this point windows positions are saved) -> restart to character select screen -> hit re-login to close the client. that's what i had done and it used to save the window positions but as i said it doesn't work for me anymore. i will do more testing and hopefully if i find out how to save the positions correctly will make a guide for you guys.
all this kind of informations are stored in lineageii/system/user.ini try to delete it and start game again and see if it works. try to set privileges for editing this file or make sure its not in state: read-only.
are u sure it has nothing to do with windowsinfo.ini ? i have the issue that sometimes i have to re-arrange my own hp bar & target bar, same for expanding those and expanding the chat. it just doesnt save. sometimes it restores a setting that is very old, sometime nothing at all etc.
