    you get prepared. you hope. you pray.
    you know for sure – today's the day.
    and should you fail – this is the end.
    you recognize enchanting, friend?

    i'll tell you what: a giant's scroll
    is somewhat better on the whole.
    not just +1: +2, +3!
    the chance you are about to see.

    items modification with giant's scrolls

    [IMG]

    purpose:

    to find out the items enchantment chance by modification up to +1, +2 and +3 with giant's scrolls.

    conditions:

    we'll try to enchant an [IMG]amaranthine retributer with [IMG] giant's scrolls: enchant weapon (r-grade).

    results of modification with giant's scrolls:

    {tbody}{tr}{tr}{tr}{tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tbody}
    modificationquantityenchantment chance+31717,5%+22525,8%+15556,7%
    in addition, we'll enchant 100 items from +3 to +4, 100 items from +4 to +5, 100 items from +5 to +6 and 100 items from +6 to +7. afterwards we'll compare the results of this experiment with the results of the previous experiment when we enchanted blessed items with usual scrolls.

    {tbody}{tr}{tr}{tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tbody}
    weaponmodificationenchantment chance (+3 -> +4)enchantment chance (+4 -> +5)enchantment chance (+5 -> +6)enchantment chance (+6 -> +7)amaranthine retributergiant's scroll: enchant weapon (r-grade)27%27%31%12%blessed amaranthine retributerscroll: enchant weapon (r-grade)24,4%24,5%30%11,1%
    conclusion: as we expected, enchantment up to +1 has the highest success rate, a chance to enchant up to +2 is twice less than the previous one and finally an enchantment up to +3 is even less possible. the results show that enchantment chances for items with the help of giant's scrolls are almost equal to those when blessed items were enchanted with usual scrolls.

    you were lucky to go with one step indeed. on the other hand bow is a physical damage weapon and has roughly double chances than magical ones to oe:
