Game Launcher Stuck in Loop

When I use the desktop shortcut, the webpage says I must install the game, it doesn't matter how many times I do this, the page will not refresh to show the play link. When I go to the community website, the link refreshes and still only shows Install.

All I did was logout and reboot my PC due to flashing texture artifacts in your game, now neither the Lineage2 EU or the classic work.

 

Check if 4game-service is working at services.msc

 

I even turned off IOBit lol. I resolved it by clearing all caches as the login system relies on a browser, and using yet a different browser. I assume you are using cookies to discover if the game is installed? If so, then they are not always refreshed when something physical changes and are probably stuck in a cache loop. Turning off IOBIT did nothing to correct the issue, so it is merrily running along to its hearts content and mine as well.

 

Again, did you check if 4game service is running? Try to stop and start it (not restart buton).

 

I did not check, however, as the same 'bug' effected the NCSoft client, I contacted their support team, they suggested that I uninstall Razor Comms programme, which I did, now it works fine on all browsers.
