Soooo... Are mages are happy after GC patch?

I'm just curiuos how mages feels now's?
From my perspective now you DOING DMG.. O.M.G. MAGES DOING DMG? Well yeah look like it. But another thing that I'm seeing they becoming olympiad farmer's... And this post is actually for me to publicly to cry about them in olympiad. Why? Because I'm Wynn, after last night olympiad I sitted untill damn 6am, rewatching my fraps, watching some good mages frapses aswell, and re-reading mages skill descriptions... And to say true I havent found any logical way to beat non-handles mages in olympiad as a wynn. An example to decribing this woud one of my fight's yesterday, I made 450k dmg to one of candidates of spellhowler, he did smth 180k, in the end I used life force, all shirt skills and so on, and I lost, why? Because from like 7th second of match mage was staying with 0 cp/hp on his mana shield, dot's(aka marks/box) not doing dmg to mana!! Wyyyyy such a balance, such a wow. So good mage how much has mana? +-20k? Soooo 20k means I need to make roughly 200k dmg to him? Oh he's gonna use life force? another 200k dmg.. Oh let's not forget shirt recovery, so another 200k dmg. So at worst scenario I need to make 600k dmg to mage. Let's see then I have only one option to do damage: my summon's dmg+my 3 nukes(2 with +10cd, and single repeatable). Summons are doing like 400 per hit, and nuke is doing like 1.2k per hit. I sincery doubth that I can do atleast half of this dmg in 5min's period D And especially while beeing all the time hitted with lot's of cc options and with decend dmg from mage. So tell me jedi's of olympiad did I missed smth? Or forrum worriors will tell "wtb finger's"?

If i'm not missing anything then LF DD class to reroll that's overall okey again's other classes in oly.

Cry post over. Feel free to pour out your grudge and feelings of inedaquacy with flame or w/e you want. or maybe advices.. toward's class to reroll?

Mages were the worst DD when it comes to pvp and 2nd worse oly farmer and now that changed, simple as that. As tip, using marks and doing mark retrieve is making lots of dmg, so you are taking a lot of their mana with retrieve, another solution could be doing marks + cage, then marks + mass cage and so on and go for the 5 mins win

Mark of retrieve dmg is ridiculiuos bro. And 2nd option, it's even less logical. even with Eva's rune, I have prety long cd's on cages, and even if they land like 100% I'm having window between them like 20s, if mage has smth like 15k cp and 20k hp, 45k dmg is really easy for them to make in single of 20s window, so that's not an option, I already tryied this last night, there is no chance simply winning on dmg.

If ure oly farmer,do u have a proper gear for it?
As wynn requires it.
Its not like u switch two weps.
U need entirely new set of items .
Especially vs pple with brain/hands,as u said.
So tell us whats up and we might find some solutions.

20k mana demands 400k damage btw. Maintaining the mana shield for 5 minutes costs 15k mana though. If you put them on 1 hp from 1st minute you deny ~8k mana from BtM. During 5 minutes they regen around 6k mana. So with rebirth and life force you would have to deal around 1kk damage to them.
I think the end-game game plan for summoner is to play properly with the immuns and disables(mark of trick, mark of fire, exiles, binding, there are so many things). I played Feoh for quite long and even when Feohs were strong back then winning on time was nearly impossible against summoner. It would require not to let the summoner mark me even once, which in theory is doable by fear-locking the summoner, but the cubic makes that insanely hard. The barrier was pretty much perma even then, the real boost to barrier is that you take twice less damage this update.
Summoner was always the worst opponent for a mage, and now it's the only class that can win without burning the mana. When the feoh has no immunity up it's extremely hard to do any damage to the summoner.
Maybe mage is too strong, but I believe avoiding getting damaged is the strategy that gives you the best chance of winning.

You feel bad to fight feohs as wynn?
Well I am sorry for you, because tanks are OP and evey hit they remove around 10-50mp and you can basically non stop hit standing feoh for 5min and he will still have mp to kill you or make some damage ( even though reflect damage should be enough to win).. I guess same goes tank vs wynn... HP regen will be more then dmg to summoner with TP...
Well I am just bad, bye!

If u play properly avoidng etcetc u should win, mb u could lose on open arena since the marks still count as dmg after 1 hp

Some1 butthurt ebaying hard is not enuff?

Want to say: sry! Judging idiavolo even i dont know him was not fair. Its only the, audience driving me mad!

Just keep rotating disables on the mage.. and try to keep your pet hp always full.. and if the arena has pilars, kite around it while you wait for cooldown on exile or other things.. You'll still pbb lose half of the games, but hey, still not so bad..

nearly impossible for summoner to win mage at least on ramona

just over gear them!!!!!!

it all depends on how much dmg u take, if summoner gets 2-3 shotted than yea impossible..

Well Taka it's true, I'v tryied that but idk I have full set epic's/coc +7-8 and the damage and dissable feels too much atleast for now, when for example this sph hero dangersmth without limits/talisman were hitting me for 10k on me and 40k on summon, ofc it was mcrit, but when you get in like 1-2s 4-5spells and if atleast one mcrit thats too much to handle, and I'm talking after sustaining with maphr invincibility, my own cele, shirt cele, dispa and all defensive cd's.. and well I'm pretty cool about my gear, let's say agains mages on 4lvl pearl/garnet and jewels+7-8 so there is where to move forward, but still im feeling that class that very hard to handle atm on ramona, and well we got lot's mages now, so farm oly feel's pretty painfull. I'm not counting looses agians Starboy/Hush for example, bcs they definetelly overgear me, and likelly overskill aswell or w/e is that, but when you loose to random noname mage that's simply stand and is bursting you feel's painfull ^^ well meybe some more practice will give result's

What did I tell you after first week on ramona where 70% of server were wynns?

I told you that you'll reroll to feoh/yul within next 2 months.

I win. Hue. Just wait for salvation update with next feoh boosts, or watch some korean olympiads on youtube

true, as a tank I can win with feoh/wynn only when they are afk and forgot to check screen

But as a tank you kill daggers, iss, yuls, eviscerators. If one class kills all other classes it means its unbalanced and overpowered. Right now a decent geared tyrr (look Ando) takes feohs down without a serious problems. Wynns on the other hand are doing good against iss, tanks, some tyrrs.

Evi were Easy at first month now they hit me for 20k so not so sure about win anymore. Dager yul iss didnt loose this month. In the other hand no chance against healer, wynn, feoh, very hard to win against Titan and tyrant also, rest are 50/50

Well see? You are weak against mage classes because ur jewels ***** balls. If Innova didnt update to GC for next 1-2 months a lot of people would have upgraded coc jewels which would make mages hit like paper. Right now you probably run on dynasty/paulina maybe seraph jewels, so against shadow retrib ++ or apoc retrib 2SA or even more - you are weak.

Once people realize even in full eternal yuls hit 50k + they'll buy jewels and nerf mages a little bit.

1. Jewels are expensive like hell, what you admire to buy then ? Yes I missed few days to buy COC
