It's whatever, main point of Topaz in oly is to give major damage boost to support classes, which otherwise s...omehow have a hard time. Main point of Topaz in 7v7/Mass PvP is to give a bit more balance in terms of gear gap, and a quick way to take care of Feohs. Even one kill every 3 minutes would change a lot during 1h PvPs, that's 20 frags.
topaz would be good only for oly or on 1vs1 pvp. ofc greater topaz have chance to lethal 1hp/cp. but again - if feoh have mp. he can't die. but we all know how "skilled" is our main oly feoh so he simply avoids those topaz skills. at least 2 times.
will the new update bring us an fresh new server so we can finally have back the dimensional siege content?
The fact that you're asking this, with the added after-message of "because of dimensional siege" is not even funny, as if anyone in this community doesn't know why you are even asking for a new server.
And why would Topaz work differently from Insane Kelbim? 0_O if you order your mass pvp force to target one guy with it, preferably some dragon weapon user, he's dead. I dont know what the guy's dreaming about, if new server gets announced, Crystallize group will be ready before the topic finishes loading xD
topaz is strong because it has another effect: Interrupt any cast. The issue why Topaz is OP on servers with Bot programs is that you can script to interrupt any skill from any char (for eg. 7 ppl party can script to interrupt 7 different key skills (PoM cast, UD Cast, Brooch Cast etc.))
With the delays that sometimes happen on this server like dying on 9th second of celestial, or having a purge and getting 2 debuffs after, or getting shot on dispa, I'm pretty sure you can forget that effect, even if scripters use it, because I'm pretty sure you would've already cast your skill (if it was a fast one) before the server registered it has to cancel that cast +for topaz, remove the skill cancel effect if it's a problem
If innova tells me how is it possible to take down geared feoh's full mp twice in 5minutes of oly match as iss(except dc) or tank i will shut up. Funny thing is that on ncwest +10 shiny shirt is rare which prevents 9feohs from 10 to have full mp regenaration in oly. Even to balance that tiny p2win difference they have topaz jewel which allows supporters to not take heroes in olympiad by feed only. While here on innova possibly every feoh, who will be problem for iss/tank in oly has shirt regenaration(and the server is without topaz). Topaz isn't QQ object there, since winner in supporter vs supporter match is the one who using topaz faster and trickier. DDs are supposed to deal damage and kill opponent, they have 5minutes for it which is fairly enough. As for my class(iss hierop) killing feoh in oly is joke, because in this update we got 2 attack skills which are main dps, instead 4 which was in earlier update. Somebody will try to argue me: "we have insane kelbim on server". NOP, i.kelbim's skill is lvl3 topaz which will not show any effect for most classes(outside dc and archmage).
Why people scare with topaz on server, when lineage 2 is unbalanced long time ago ? When you have shirts sayha New tiaras and soon new cloak....
Like if p2w isnt great already according to some players. Every class has p2w items that massively boost it, but supports are denied the item that was supposed to balance them out versus the rest of p2w on other classes.
