NCSOFT will open a classic server

because they fear it will actually be sucessful turning god servers into empty and boring places spoiling all they have been working for inside the game so it's quite a natural human reaction if you ask me yet wrong approach.

 

ugh, i dunno.
talking for myself now that i dont mind if innova will open l2 classic servers. maybe it will even bring back ppl who stopped playing long ago or even ppl who are now bored to death on core will give it a try. its p2p and i think lots of ppl prefer such a system than p2w via ingame store.

there are just 2 things which some of the ppl might forget.
1. after merging already 2 servers in eu how will it look like with this l2 classic server? (maybe eu server is doomed before it even started. so ye, better go to the russian server)
2. most of the ppl are having this warm nostalgic feeling of the good old times but they might forget that it was so hard to get anything ingame. i bet a lot of them will give up before reaching level 30 because last time they played this chronicle was probably on a private server with +50 rates.

for everyone who doesnt mind that and is excited to start playing there: have fun, dont mind the haters and enjoy it to the maximum.

 

also, i believe much more people will go to ncwest l2 classic server, since it will be also p2p.

we will be always behind by "few weeks//months" than ru ;p

 

and this was the best part of this game... now its like quake 3 or any other shooter... all is easy to get... too easy, game is full of kids and many idiots... i remeber old times on us servers... game had -, but many + too... now buffs r nothing, in the old times 56 lvl prophet was so pro, and selling buffs for adena... pk? no1 cares now, but in old chronicles when u shout bout pk, many ppl comes... all was very hard to get, but this was fun, there r still ppl like me who missing old times and old l2... game was far more social, i had many friends, cooperation was so important in any cp, clan etc... i remeber when lvling from 0 to 20 = 8h non stop grind... u had sooooo much time to learn ur toon, tactics and cooperation with ur friends... and now? u can hit 85 in couple of days, ppl comming for rb's lvl 85+ and have no idea what they r doing and do know nothing about their toons, dont know what aoe means, hitting sleeping healer, just staying and shooting w/o using brain... i am very nostalgic to old l2 times and want it back... innova can do it better than ncsoft, all ncsoft servers had 1 big problem - bots, catacombs was full of them. but in old chronicles we trained them and this was easy money from items drops. if innova create classic l2 server w/o bots ill come back for sure!!!

nostalgia is a *****, the game always had problems and people were always *****ing about something.

 

nah, just mmo's goin in the wrong direction... some ppl wanna play chess, and some wanna play hello kitty...

 

no it's just people always complaining...

 

after x years finally people is watching in the right direction.
there's still hope.
i pointed out the reasons a million of times already.

and is not true that "people always been complaining".
that is the wrong observation.
as the correct one is who is supposed to be complaining and which reasons brought these complaints.
and long are the freeloaders, carebears, casuals and easy moders that complains means the game is good, their opinion is just worthless as long as the real playerbase is satisfied or not yet overangered toward the game devs / publishers.

and before the complaints were argued and centered around defined matters (such as classes or skills balancing) and did not spaced around whole game mechanics, structure and whatever issue it could raise, making all of a sudden a huge mess where the good and correct complains would get lost in the huge crowd of stupid and broken ones.

gm's at least make a section for l2 classic serv as do 4game.ru in their forum to talk about this,there is many ppl who w8 this server

 

until we actually have an l2classic server there is absolutely no need for a whole new section for it and the general discussion section provides exactly the same as a new section would so there is no difference for you.

for some reason innova ru doesn't act the opposite way that innova eu does when it comes to dealing with l2 classic or community in general, weird fact considering they are the very same company.

may i ask for any change, on this forum in this matter ;p ....

 

when you are dealing with small community you can pretty much say and do w/e you want and deal with absolutely no consequences as market for l2 eu servers is nonexistent.
kinda sad if you ask.

also l2c will never be successful in eu,russia yes those guys are on korean level of hardcore gaming and have big competition between clans.
european=mucho forum hype,quit or merge after 1-2 months.
