Brooch introduction estimated time?

why are you guys panicking so much about is, most important is that the items are avaiable for everyone on the server.
you get benefit on attack and defense.
with hunter talisman on the server it will be totaly fine.

 

maybe its time to wait for l2classic

 

because it forces more itemization gap between top parties & the rest of the server on an already piss poor situation as described earlier in the thread

 

if the jewels wont be so expensive at mammon and store it will be pretty eazy for players to get them to atleast 3rd lv. and third lv is more then enough.

makes 0 sense. poor people will always be poor no matter what is implemented in game.
there is players that havent spend 1 cent in this game and have top gear.
it's all about gameplay and dedication. some that dont have time to play as much as others use l2 store.
for game beeing totaly free and dead for couple of years i think its pretty good deal that gm's are asking players for suggestions and finally implement something that is accesable for everyone in game is pretty good thing.

 

as far as i could see 99% were saying "we dont need this. stop making it happen". :d

 

and check also prices for hunter talismans, price is unbelieveble high and new players basically cannot even buy this :d

from what cm onyx said i really doubt they will be any cheap:

people wanted none, at least most of us.

 

i should be happy of this update, because i will have them probably in first month, but it's like vlm wrote few posts above, gap between top and middle is just huge already and will be even more, the only chance for middle players is to make them really cheap, like about 1b for lvl3 brooches set otherwise you are just killing game for middle players, coz on mass pvp they will just get one shooted with aoe.

 

let's speak gameplay then, brooch were introduced into nckorea on a server which is literally filled with +<10 gear both pvp & pve, where the economy is so ****** up people have billions as pocket change. what happened on nckorea after their introduction ? mass quitting & server merge.
it was after introduced on ncwest which, while having lower gear than nckorea is still filled with pvp sets & star wars pvp weapon all over the place. what happened on ncwest after their introduction ? mass quitting again.

meanwhile what we have on core ? probably 20 pvp weapon on the whole server, and very few parties with 7/7 pvp set. do you see the problem ? brooch system is already broken on server filled with top-end item, and we will get it in less than a month on a server which still have trouble getting pvp parts because no dimensional siege even tho it's been in "discussion" since months. but destroying the server gameplay wise with p2w event is more important than fixing core's problem it seems.


edit: and please dont act like they 'listened' to us. the only reason we don't have topaz is because mother russia didnt want topaz. they don't give a **** about core community. if they did we would have patch notes & an update on their own event they made on halloween, you know, the one with the deadline set for the 7th of november ( https://4gameforum.com/showthread.php?t=30802 ).

 

as i remember onyx just said topaz wont come to core and ppl were happy about it.
though i must say im more concerned about 20% more dmg which gives (again) boosts to feohs and daggers while ppl were complaining about 13k dmg from topaz.

this whole brooch system is messed up. nobody wants it here and everyone gave good reasons for it.
innova needs money? how about putting the money they got from l2c into hiring some staff to keep the forum updated, answering tickets in less than 1 week etc. give a nice support, make ppl have fun playing on this server again and not make them feel like randoms. thats the way they like to invest into the game again but not like this.

 

completely agree with that, our economy is just destroyed already, we can't get adena because of your updates, we can't get hunters talismans, it was cheap few months ago, now it's 2b! how to get 2b in this chronicle? pvp armor stones drop rate is even more reduced, do you know price for 1 pvp stone? it's 400kk, count how much you need for pvp set... and then please do test with dmg what deal mage who have top items 300k m. atak and pvp weapon, add top brooches and show us what dmg will get middle player who will probably never have pvp set, because you can't implement sieges for us. then please tell to middle players how to play if they will get dmg 2x higher than their hp and cp. i understand that top players should have top dmg it's also not for free... but pls there should be some limits.

 

onyx, it's ******* impossible to farm adena in this broken game, everything is nerfed, because for koreans it wasn't hard enough, not mention they have trillions adena in their eq, while we got it empty.
another thing about broochs, it will favor feohs/othells again!

(l2 eu classis will be another fail of innova, so if anybody think about classic, play in russian)

 

ok, let me give you few words about this new l2store p2w.

first of all, linsten please very carefully to your community, no one wants this event as iblacki already said, the gap from middle players with top players will be now impossible to skip ever. just go and read this l2store update feedback from players at ncwest and nckorea, it's simple, no one wanted this event in either korea or west, after this a lot of people left from their servers and came here from west because l2store events there and bots and so on, so don't kick them from this server introducing this system. we know you are a company and need money, but in short term, you will lose money because a lot of players will go out of this server.

about selling the brooches items in merchant of mammon, let's be real, those are really expensive:
top brooch = 50 giant's energy + 50 energy of destruction + 50kk adena
1 jewel box = 5 giant's energy + 5 energy of destruction + 5kk adena
really, with those prices it's cheaper to sell giant's energy to get adena and buy l2store 2 times cheaper than this option, so no, this is not an option for middle player

we still don't have dimensional castle siege rewards, so with this only richers will get richer and poorer will be even more poor, just's listen carefully to what your community is trying to say to you, but in short it's:

we know you need money, but try to run another l2store event if you need, but not this one because it will destroy the server

 

more instances ( nearly dead open field pvp ), less adena / stuff drop, ultimate p2w items...

think about it innova, before doing more stupid things... or it will be fast and sad.

 

no one want this brooch system but you'll introduce it anyway so it's clear you don't give a damn **** about community.
if need money find other way in l2store but not this,

now you probably don't have the authority or the directions come directly from superiors so i won't waste my time writing why you shouldn't put it (but seriously, you shouldn't put it).

so instead i can just say: i hope you will consider very well the details of how you will implement it (don't do it).
you should try your best to make it as accessible as possible to everyone at a good level, make lv3/4 jewels easy to make so they won't have the biggest disadvantage possible when fighting against people with level5, they will still have big disadvantage though... (don't implement it).

and about promotion or not, it should be permanent promotion actually, everyone will want it sooner or later, you'd just be screwing people who didn't have money at that exact time and causing them more grief (seriously just don't put it).
putting them for items at mammon is nice, but if it's anything like it was with hunter talisman boxes, it was too expensive it was a joke, l2 store was still only viable option, they better be much cheaper this time around (you really shouldn't implement brooch).
