Will change.. because now you can spend 300e and get nothing.. if they ban loot boxes.. atleast with 300e you will buy what you want...

with this logic they should ban all lottery tickets too..
for ea ubisoft and other big companies it's nothing, like 2kk€ less profit.
but for small game companies this would be disaster.

why would it be a disaster? They just have to remove the chance ****, and show a real price , its true, this gambling can be addicting , either make the game for 18+ years or get rid of the gambling .

Dont worry they are targetting top content like overwatch and COD
for us maybe in 10 or 15 years
our l2 store is a custom version in china u can buy w/e u want on the store, the NA store is way different, same for korea and Japan
Even the content in patch is different (we dont have PVP Set V2)

so when they say dev told us to do w/e, its true and false at the same time

Yes to EU economy, not Law. They did rules based on RU law and they will not care waht EU will try to afford.
They are not in EU, they have their own law. And by clicking agreements you accepting their regulaamin based on their law.

At least this is most logiclal for me but im not 100% sure of it. Best if @CM_Fragola will take a voice here to explain it to us :)

The pvp set v2. You mean pve+pvp option? Its exclusive option for Japan servers

If course innova is dependent on EU law, they have EU customers, the compagny adress is in luxembourg, even if it's just a mailbox it's still innova.eu.

Actually the subsidiary officially running the EU servers is legally based in Luxembourg

They are only going to "investigate" triple A (AAA) game titles.

    L2 is considered as such.

actually innova (at least eu server side) operates under law of luxembourg
4.7. This Agreement is governed by and shall be construed and enforced under the laws of The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, without applying any conflicts of law principles which would require application of the law of any other jurisdiction. Innova and the User each hereby irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg for all purposes in connection with any action or proceeding which arises out of or relates to this Agreement and agree that any action or proceeding instituted under this Agreement shall be brought only in the state courts of Luxembourg City, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

so if the EU decides to ban MT's innova will have to do smth and there might be some outcomes:
1- move servers to china (or somewhere outside europe) - prepare to lags
2- make game 18+ and like koreans ask for ID just to enter the game
3- show us the real % of drops from tarots and other related boxes - which 99.99% will not happen

while the 'milking cow' gives income they will not 'kill' it, besides any other project includes same microtransactions which wouldn't be possible to milk
