Error 1073 on Windows10

The Error status 1073 issue is related to the recent Windows 10 update (KB4093112). In order to fix this issue, you should turn the Secure Boot option off in UEFI (BIOS):

• Open the PC BIOS menu. You can access this menu: press a key (F1, F2, F10, F12, Del or Esc) during the bootup sequence; or from Windows: hold the Shift key while selecting Restart, go to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options: UEFI Firmware Settings.
• Find the Secure Boot setting, and if possible, set it to Disabled. This option is usually in either the Security tab, the Boot tab, or the Authentication tab.
• Save changes and exit. The PC reboots.

Also, you can uninstall the KB4093112 update (Windows Settings=>Update&Security=>Update History, select and uninstall) and temporarily turn off the Windows update service until a Frost security update is released.

Hi. Is the problem solved? I don't like to touch inside the BIOS stuff.

I installed the game today for first time and I have encountered with this problem.

 

Not yet, our tech specialists say they need another month or two to settle down the 1073 issue on Win10. Why that much? It requires coordination with MS, so that's not just our side.

Today we have updated Frost to resolve the error 1073 on WIN10 systems. If you experience issues when entering the game, please restart your PC.
