What's up guys, I honestly haven't played since the launch of Classic, so it's been a while. A friend posted about these Essence, servers and how 2 new ones just opened, and claiming they're not pay to win at all. Anyone can enlighten me on this?
well, it's not ofcourse, but the more you byt ingame, more faster you boost your character. all items you can get by free means or buy from other players
Compared to the live servers where everything changes every 6 months so you will have to re-buy everything from scratch essence isn't that bad. As wellzar rightly pointed out you are paying to exp faster and get faster to end game content. The real problem with essence is the pk spree. In essence even if you pk the whole server 24 h a day you don't get a real punishment, aka you aren't exposed to the risk of dropping multiple items if killed. NCSoft Korea is doing something about this but still there are players who don't even try to exp and for them essence it's like an fps with elf and dwarves where to hunt down other players. Intall it give it a try if you like it play it otherwise we will see, for sure, in another l2 version. Take care out there.
