    dear players,

    we are happy to present you the final lindvior patch notes version confirmed by our testing group.

    the lindvior update was installed on the 4th of june, 2013.

    patch notes contents:

    classes and skills

    character

    1) after the awakening system is changed, a character can awaken to one of 34 classes

    - the third class transfer can be completed with the help of the giant’s statue, like it was before.
    - only main class can be awakened into ‘tyrr maestro’ and ‘iss dominator’.
    - awakened characters can change their class to a new one with the help of npc hardin, who can be found in the reliquary of giants. heroes and stand-by heroes cannot change class.
    - each character that awakens with the help of npc hardin receives 2 vials with chaos essence. these items can be later used to change class to another one (the new class should belong to the same branch/archetype)
    - chaos essence will expire in 30 days.
    - chaos essence can be obtained and used only on the main class.
    - chaos essence cannot be used by heroes and heroes-to-be (standby)
    - olympiad points are not reset after the class change with the help of chaos essence, which may bring some changes to the hero list.


    2) dual-class can be re-awakened with the help of npc raina in talking island village.

    - dual-class can be awakened only when the awakening of the main class is completed.
    - dual-class can be re-awakened only when the main class is awakened into one of the new classes.
    - before the update it was forbidden to choose a dual-class from the same branch which the main class belonged to. after the update this restriction will be narrowed down to the same class.
    - already awakened dual classes can take one of the new 4th classes from npc hardin and will receive 2 chaos essences (dual classes), which can be used to change class within one profession branch.
    - chaos essence (dual classes) may be used within 30 days.
    - chaos essence (dual classes) may be used only when a character doesn’t have a “chaos essence”.

    3) due to the changes in the awakening system, it has become impossible to obtain a class power weapon. all existing stones of destiny and class power weapons have been removed from the game.

    4) as it is impossible to have more than 2.1kkk sp, which previously caused certain troubles, the maximum amount of sp and the amount of gained/required sp has been reduced by 90% in all the aspects (learning skills, quest rewards, sp scrolls etc.).

    - thus, the practical value of sp remains unchanged but the limit has become harder to reach.
    - however, the amount of sp required to raise clan level from the 1st to the 5th remains same as before in order to maintain the importance of clans.​

    5) the amount of xp required to raise a character’s level from the 40th to the 85th has been changed.

    - these changes have been introduced in order to balance character leveling speed.​

    6) distance to the target no longer affects the damage dealt with ranged weapons (bows/crossbows).

    7) if a sub-class belongs to the same type as the main class, a character will receive a chaos fragment upon completing the “split destiny” quest.

    - any character that has a chaos fragment in possession can awaken its dual-class into a class within the same type with the help of npc hardin.
    - the chaos fragment can be used after the character runs out of chaos essences.​

    8) the “split destiny” quest is no longer available to judicators.


    skills

    1) due to the awakening class system being redesigned, new skills have been introduced.

    - like before, new skills can be learned in the skills window (alt+k).
    - the "plunder" skill has been empowered but will be now available only to othell fortune seekers and has been removed from all othell rogues’ spellbooks. as compensation, players will receive immortal scrolls (the amount of these depends on the skill enchantment level).
    - enchanted poems, harmonies and sonatas have been removed from orc iss enchanters’ spellbooks. depending on the enchantment level, players will receive immortal scrolls (1 scroll for 1 level).
    - iss dominator’s poems/harmonies/sonatas have been replaced with “frenzied” skills which can be cast on clan members.
    - an immortal scroll allows safe skill enchanting to the next level.
    - new minions have been added to enhance the peculiarities of the new classes.
    - new cubics have been added to enhance the peculiarities of the new classes.
    2) no sp are needed to learn new skills at level 85.

    3) the duration of debuffs no longer depends on their land rate.

    - now debuff land rate influences only the chance of successful landing, while the duration is constant.​

    4) the land rate decrease pattern of immobilization effects after consecutive debuff reapplication has been changed.

    - before: if a debuff of the same type (physical/mental) is cast on a target within 15 seconds from the first application of a negative effect on the same target, its land rate decreases and the debuff is cancelled after the 4th application.
    - now: if a debuff is cast on a target within 15 seconds from the first application of a negative effect of the same type (physical/mental) on that target, its land rate decreases; after the 3rd application the debuff is removed.
    - land rate reduction mechanics of the following debuffs has been changed:​

    6) “art of seduction” has been redesigned so that using this skill should become more convenient.:

    - casting time has been increased to 5 sec up from 3 sec.
    - cooldown time has been reduced to 5 minutes down from 40 minutes.
    - duration has been increased to 30 minutes up from 20 minutes.
    - the “mesmerized” debuff is no longer applied together with the positive spell effect.​

    7) land rate of some skills has been decreased down from 100%:
    - superior aggression, superior aggression aura, power provoke, lure shot, death lord ​

    8) the following class skills have been redesigned in order to improve class balance:

    - to make up for the nerf of certain abilities, aggression becomes a truly powerful skill in mass-pvp.

    a. received critical damage reduction upon using “blow”-type abilities has been decreased, while damage dealt by these abilities has been raised.
    b. debuffs’ land rate has been increased.

    - in order to restore the concept of mage as a powerful long-range damage-dealer, their skill damage, debuffs power and land rate have been increased.

    a. all offensive skills now deal 10% more damage (except for damage-over-time skills).

    b. the range of all offensive skills has been increased to 1100 meters (like that of yul archers).

    - duration changed to 10 sec
    - cooldown changed to 5 sec
    - power increased, whereas the effects remain the same as before.
    b. “mark retriever" has become more efficient:
    - cooldown time has been reduced.
    - the skill power has been increased.

    12) the problem when mass skills (cyclone, volcano) were deactivated by simultaneous usage of toggle skills has been fixed.

    13) the problem when by simulataneous usage of the feoh wizards' elemental blast and elemental storm skills damage was applied only by one of them has been fixed.

    14) the problem when the effect of "fast run" was kept in water and after getting off a mount (gold lion, jet bike, steam beattle and darkmane pacer) has been fixed.

    15) the problem when the “superior light armor mastery” effects were enabled by equipping other armor types has been fixed.

    16) the aeore healers' skill "crystal regeneration" doesn't affect minions.

    17) positive effect of the “ultimate servitor share” skill is now displayed in the pet’s positive skills window.


    18) a new item has been added – divine protection elixir which bestows a beneficial effect similar to that of art of seduction.

    - divine protection elixir’s effect: for 30 minutes, increases max. hp/mp/cp and p./m.def. by 30%, cannot be used in the olympiad arena, but can be used in the ceremony of chaos arena and has a 5-minute cooldown.
    - divine protection elixir can be used by characters at level 85 and above, but not in the olympiad arena.
    - the effect of divine protection elixir fades out when “art of seduction” buff is applied
    - there are two recipes teaching how to craft divine protection elixirs. one of them is a tyrr-maestro-only recipe, whereas the other is available to all awakened characters

    19) the problem when the "falcon" transformation was active even if it had been cancelled before logging out of the game has been fixed.

    20) the problem when the window "to village" didn't appear even if the character re-logged into the game being in the transformation or under the effect of "noblesse blessing".

    21) the problem when toggle effect was kept even after its cancellation has been fixed.

    22) the problem when the "quick charge" skill moved a character into the wrong direction has been fixed.

    23) the skill “radiant purge” can’t be applied to enemies.

    24) if a difference between a character’s level and their skill level is more than 4 levels, the skill will be deleted or its level will be decreased.
    a. if this skill has been enchanted, then an enchantment is deleted as well.​

    25) cooldown time of the following resurrection items and skills has been changed (m. speed doesn’t influence the skills with a fixed casting speed and a cooldown):

    a) resurrection – casting speed decreases from 6 seconds. to 2 seconds. casting speed and cooldown time are fixed.​
    b) mass resurrection – casting speed decreases from 10 seconds. to 3 seconds. cooldown time increases from 2 min 30 seconds. to 10 minutes. casting speed and cooldown time are fixed.​
    c) heretic resurrection – casting speed decreases from 6 seconds. to 2 seconds. casting speed and cooldown time are fixed.​
    d) angel's resurrection – casting speed decreases from 3 seconds. to 2 seconds. action range decreases form 900 to 400. casting speed and cooldown time are fixed.​
    e) blessed resurrection – casting speed and cooldown time are fixed.​
    f) party resurrection – casting speed and cooldown time are fixed.​
    g) scroll of resurrection (skill) - casting speed decreases from 15 seconds. to 5 seconds.​
    h) blessed scroll of resurrection - casting speed decreases from 3 seconds. to 1 second.​

    26) the following othell rogue’s skills have been changed:

    7) revelation skills can be reset with the help of the monk of chaos in exchange for 100kk adena and all chaos pomanders.

    system changes

    mentoring system

    the following changes have been introduced:

    1) now each character of lower than level 84 may become a mentee, rather than only those who have a mentee certificate.

    2) therefore, mentee certificates won’t be given to new characters anymore.

    3) mentee’s appreciation effect has been decreased from 10% to 5% (xp, sp).

    4) mentor’s guidance effect has been decreased from 200% to 50% (xp, sp).

    5) all mentor buffs remain active for 5 min. after the mentor has logged out.

    6) a mentee loses a mentor by awakening at level 85 rather than by reaching level 86 as it was earlier.

    - after the update all mentees who don’t satisfy the conditions will lose their mentors automatically. ​

    7) mentee’s marks quantity has been changed in the following way:

    clan system

    1) when characters of level 40 and above, members of a clan of level 5 and higher, achieve new levels, the clan receives reputation points.

    - clan reputation points are gained by subclass levelling too.
    - when a member of a clan academy levels up, clan doesn’t receive reputation points. a clan gets reputation points when a character graduates from the academy.​

    - all main characters and subclasses of level 85 and below, who have not yet awakened, may enter an academy.

    - by mounting an air bike you can use a skill “vehicle ability”.​

    5) a clan can get new levels by gaining reputation points. points which are necessary for leveling up have been changed in the following way:

    - level 5 -> 6: 20000 reputation points,
    - level 6 -> 7: 30000 reputation points,
    - level 7 -> 8: 50000 reputation points.​

    6) the problem of clan skills has been fixed: a character won’t have clan skills after leaving the clan.

    7) the following changes/new features have been implemented in the clan skills system:

    - clan leader and clan members possessing the necessary privileges can create and edit members recruiting announcements.
    - new members can be accepted with the help of an appearing button ”applicants list”. clan leaders and members possessing relevant privileges may accept new members and refuse membership to some.
    - clans are arranged in accordance with the number of clan reputation points. the list is updated at 6:30 every day.
    - when a new applicant appears, a leader and clan members with appropriate privileges get informed.
    - you may get information about characters willing to enter a clan with the help of the list.
    - a recruiting announcement will be automatically deleted in 30 days.
    - a new recruiting announcement may be created in 5 minutes after the previous has been deleted.

    b) vagabonds:
    - vagabonds may apply for entering a clan by means of recruiting announcements. it’s impossible to apply for membership in several clans.
    - having cancelled an application a player may apply again in 5 minutes.
    - no more than 200 players may apply for membership in one clan.
    - if a character has not been admitted to a clan for 30 days, their application is automatically deleted. ​


    clan wars

    1) the problem when clan war points decreased when an attacked clan member killed a clan member of the attacking party has been fixed.

    2) the problem when clan war points, if they were negative, were set to zero when the server was down, has been resolved.

    3) the problem with a wrong system message appearing when players from combatting clans killed each other being in one party has been fixed.

    4) the problem when reputation points didn’t change when members of combatting clans killed each other has been fixed.

    pk

    1) a character of level 86 or above dying without xp will be delevelled.
    - having been delevelled characters can’t become mentees again.​

    2) the death penalty of chaotic characters with pk points of 4 and higher has been changed in the following way:

    before: max. 5 items can be deleted including enchanted items
    after: max. 5 items can be dropped including enchanted items.

    - enchanted items are dropped and lose their enchant qualities​

    grand olympiad

    1) 34 new awakened classes may take part in olympiad.

    2) you may no longer buy a “scroll: summon bratty angma” (level 76-84) from mysterious butler.

    3) in the current update you can receive 100 personal reputation points for killing a combat-type bratty angma (rather than 30 as in the previous version)

    4) clan reputation points which can be gained with the help of a clan pet have been increased from 100 to 500.

    5) the problem when a character was transparent during 60 seconds of preparation for a battle has been fixed.

    6) it is no longer allowed to use “cheese cake (cp)” , “blueberry cake (mp)” and “strawberry cake (hp)” during the ceremony of chaos.

    7) geodata issues on the 1st and 2nd arenas have been fixed.

    8) now the winners of the ceremony of chaos instantly receive a mysterious box and no longer need to attack it.

    9) the problem regarding dead characters restoring cp/hp/mp when they are called to the ceremony of chaos (if they have signed up before death) has been fixed.

    10) the victory/draw/defeat points in the ceremony of chaos are now displayed correctly.

    2) character’s face detalization depends on video settings. characters’ facial features now look more elaborated.

    known bugs and "by-design" issues

    main known bugs

    known bugs which have already been reported to the developers:

    1. the incorrect message about buying from l2store. “a gift has been made” instead of “you purchased an item”.
    2. incorrect localization in the skill description “ninja's hide (lv.4)”: there is a mismatch between the skill description (speed decrease 30%) and the real effect (10%).
    3. there are a number of geodata issues (terrain bugs) in immortal plateau and land of chaos.
    4. some wynn elemental master’s minions move incorrectly and partly sink in textures by standing.
    5. wynn magnus’ and wynn merrows’ minions have allegedly incorrect appearance and animation.
    6. incorrect crossbow animation appears when elf female characters use some skills.
    7. a direction message on one of sayune’s arrows in the gainak village is missing.
    8. a settings option “disable hints” fulfils an opposite function.
    9. incorrect information about an opportunity to wear 2 necklaces simultaneously can be found in the following items description:
    - valakas’ necklace (180 days)
    - enchanted octavis’ necklace (warrior)

    here are some dubious issues which can't be regarded as games bugs and are a part of the game mechanics.

    1. in order to increase an iss dominator’s clan role, this class can cast buffs only on clan members.
    2. none of the new class skills of gd 3.0 can be modified.
    3. some skills of 2nd and 3rd professions are not deleted by awakening and learning new skills.
    4. the “shield song” and “dance of might” skills don’t affect party members.
    5. the effect of “ninja's hide (lv.4)” lasts for 5 seconds instead of 3 minutes.
    6. you can challenge trasken at any time now.
    7. enchant scrolls and blessed enchant scrolls are no longer available at the olympiad manager’s store.
    8. some skills obtained with the help of life stone instilled with giants' power can be applied to party and clan members without using ctrl, even if they are not flagged (have white nick’s color).
    9. the olympiad ranking is no longer available at an olympiad manager.
    10. it is no longer possible to receive additional magic for minions with the help of an adventurer helper.
    11. kamaels can choose any class by cancelling their dual class (except for tyrr maestro and iss dominator)
    12. dwarves awakened before the update keep an ability to craft items in lindvior.
    13. the effect of vitality maintaining potions (30-minute), the description of which has been change
