there is bugged quest. i was suppose to kill 20 ant soldiers and 15 ant warrior captains. i went to ant nest, killed 50 soldiers and 50+ warrior captains and get no quest items at all. in notification it's still 0/20 soldiers and 0/15 captains. wtf?
you don't receive any quest item, it counting kills, you or your party have to last hit mob to complete quest. make sure u killing right mobs. they're not in ant nest btw.
i tried to do the same mate, but it seems that the mobs required for the quest are spawned only at wastelands.i went there and i completed the quest.
yes, you have to kill moobs only on the surface, not inside ant nest, i tried this way like you, but it doesn't work.
