hey there, iam about to get a new pc. just asking, with those specifikations, will i be able to run l2 smoothly on high graphics? cpu: intel core i5 4x 3,20 ghz ram: 16 gb ddr3 ram 1333mhz nvidia geforce gtx 650 4095 mb hdd: 500 gb sataii since it has no ssd i wanted to run l2 from ram since its big enough. i think this should handle l2 on high graphics, not? greetings.
if it'll run smoothly on high graphics is always the question ... just keep in mind lineage is an old game and the graphics don't work as optimal as newly produced games do. but with that setup you can easily run the game, however you can't run the game fully from your ram. i got 12gb ram and the game still only puts like 1gb max of files in my ram.
there are commands to force the game to run on active memory, i assume that's what he's referring to. and that new setup is more than enough, but trust me ssd`s are amaaaazing and well worth the investment.
best upgrade i ever did for my gaming pc's (6 total) was install solid state drives, especially with lineage 2.
i play on very high graphics including shadows,cloaks etc even in towns with: amd fx 6300 3,5ghz nvidia gtx 650 2gb 8 gb ram ssd 120g if im not mistaken... so yea ur pc would definitely play the game. gl
