Soulshots in groups?

it is standard etiquette to use soulshots when levelling in dungeons/groups?

i played l2 from open beta to early c2. back then exping with shots was extremely rare. now, i am up to level 57 here. i used soulshots up until level 40 because they were free. i then also used them with a polearm until 52 to aoe. however,since getting my b grade at 52 i have not used them so that i can actually make some money. every single person i have seen exping is using soulshots except for me, and i have no idea how they are making any money.

i have not grouped yet. when i start doing groups, should i bring enough soulshots to use them for exping? and if so, do dungeon mobs drop enough adena to actually pay for them?

 

try to kill white mobs, not blue. they drop adena.

 

you might get kicked from parties, if you don't use shots.
the drops are well worth the shots and even if they aren't - who cares, you still need to use them.

you can play as you like... soul/spirit shots are in game for so long, everyone used to it to have them enabled. especially private servers users where rates where usually so high that it was profitable to use ss and kill faster then not using them...
but not blame private servers ... i played on ncwest for 2 years, and never have seen anyone not using ss ^^. (of course i read on boards - "not using ss = profit" - but just never see anyone doing it )...
i personally used them for kill speed... i played for 1-2h a day... so killing 300 mob or 150 without ss is a difference... and i had a advantage that i was summoner and beast ss are for fixed price from npc up to end game ^_^... so used bss only for heals.

but it is true... not using ss is 100% profit... but i am to lazy for not using it (maybe this is why i am always broke )

ps. the other reason for everyone using ss is race to have higher lvl then anyone else

 

come on guys how much profit will you make?
2k ssc is like 90k adena? it's nothing!! imo better use soulshots. saves time. and time is money. so profit
