    hello, everyone!

this weekend the forum was attacked by a hacker. he managed to gain administrative rights and put a global announcement about what he had done.

fortunately, that is all he managed to do.

our programmers assured me that he gained no access to any personal data.
there is no need to worry.

the vulnerability that he used to break in is located. our engineers are working on fixing it.

    stay safe!

    regards,
    pazak

depends on if the hacker had access to the mysql database. most likely he just found some backdoor in vbulletin forum software which caused him to have admin access to the forum. usually they aren't able to access the database or forum files on the hosting.

i don't think innova would tell you "he gained no access to any personal data." if the hacker had access to this info :)
