Lineage 2 EU on Linux

hi there, has anybody know how to paly lineage 2 eu on linux under wine? i've tried to install and start the 4game updater under wine, it installs fine, bot won't start... :\ if anyone has knowledge of this, please help

ps: with the original launcher it starts and run fine

why dont you just create a seperate partition and install windows 7? who knows u might even like it since unix systems sometimes can get pain in ur soft place

i was running lineage 2 interlude using wine@debian sid stable, had a bit fun with it, but i'm not sure, if it will be easy to run god under wine. faster will be making partition for windows, and just edit grub or whatever loader you are using.

hi, thx for the replies, but i don't want to install windows 7, i hate it... i can run all of the l2 chronicles with the normal launcher, only the web based launcher won't work :\

 

if interlude worked, so should god, as its still the same engine.
however, good luck using the plugin for the browser =)
think only way is virtual machine (hooray crappy and laggy 3d =p) or indeed dualboot.

btw if you hate windows, howcome your gamer.. almost all (if any) games for linux **** donkeys. opengl is horrid compared to directx in power and performance :s
