Tyrr useless after 97 pve?

i just got 97 and i've done my first soh,baylor dailies i don't even dare make or join a crossroad pt, i will be instantly kicked... so here's my problem, apart from gf,fortuna,e.spez,kartia,istina and octavis can you tell me another place where tyrr could be useful?

soh and crossroads seem to be the only considerable xp areas for 97+ but the class itself can't belong to any of these so any ideas? i speak only for tyrr db, tyrr warlord might have a chance to go soh for the aoe...

you can go soh aoe fine with pole
tyrr is tyrr, even if you miss one extra aoe stun.
crossroads yeah, no one will want you there... they shouldn't anyway... you can also solo in places like cemetary or pagans, but it will be boring and not as good.

 

so i should waste money for r95 pole? but even with pole, damage is not even close to compare with half kill...

guess i have to beg for soh daily otherwise i can do only normal dailies...
im 23 y/o do you think i can go 99 before 30?

 

you should be perfectly fine aoeing solo in pagan

 

join soh aoe exp parties and you'll be fine. a good soh party gives you more exp/hour than a cross party. you just have to be lucky with tank and healer.

 

or make your own party take 3 lethals for crossroad ;p

 

y this thing that after 95 want only leathals everywhere and dont give the opportunity to other classes join is bad.i think that every pt could give at least one slot in their pt for a mage or tyrr to combine with the yuls or daggers.your other option is to make a pt yourself and wait for ppl to join.personally apart from leathals i always put a wynn/feoh or tyrr in pt(whoever joins first) cause all classes can be useful in their own way.plus i believe your armor destruction also help the dagger/yul dps until they succeed to a leathal hit.its a nice debuff that i like on your class as i like the marks of wynn the dps on their pets the cage they can do on hard situations and the feoh's lift-in-the-air skill.so ppl need to understand all classes help in their own way and invite at least 1 of them in a leathal pt.always my personal opinion ofc.

 

1 tyrr aoe on soh is almost as fast as lethal cr party. 2 or 3 tyrrs soh aoe is the fastest exp ingame atm. doesn't matter if you're dn or not.
tyrr useless ? sure, on raids like e.tauti or e.octavis having a tyrr doesn't bring a big advantage, but for almost everywhere else, you're still a valuable asset. unfortunately most people don't realize that, so you're left to make your own parties, not joining already made ones

 

yea i know that tyrr is valuable in many ways but like this it seems to end up being the most expensive class... many tyrr guides suggest having pole for aoe, 2h for rb and dual for pvp. i know it's optional to get one of these but in order to be effective in all aspects of the game u have to get all! so like you said now i have to buy pole and waste money on it cuz my 2h on soh does **** (and it was a pain in the *** for me to make it) while a yul or dagger on the other hand just gets r95 and keeps it for everything... maybe it's me starting to get desperate but since i just hit 97 propably there are things i still don't know about xping from now on.

tyrrs should have a 2h and a pole. there are a must for them. yeap it's an expensive class. you should have known this.

 

being a dn i run around with :

1. pole for main weapon. using it almost everywhere, whether it's pve or pvp. 2x sa, 300 ele
2. 2h r95, 1 sa ( focus ), 300 ele - on boss fights for dps. never gonna be as good as db or titan, but still better than hitting tauti with a pole.
3. duals with 1 sa ( health ), 300 ele - mostly for going into zerk + surviving harder pvp fights when the enemy is dealing massive dmg. not so good dps with them and you can skip them in 90% of the cases, unless you're duelist.

so yea, it's expensive. but it's optional. only if you want to be 100% effective.

find iss box and make duo pt in gf with summoner really fast xp and nice adenas 10m per hour +seraph sigil drops. you will do just armor destruction and normal hits and let the others to summoner . but you must to take very fast the targets (like ghislain )else will not be good xp

 

sigh...again this "lethal" term. lethal my @ss. lf lethal for this, lf lethal for that. noobs making pts. stop complaining, tyrrs are perfectly fit for every job. people kicking out of cuz they want 77 daggers? fine make your own damn party. pve is good with tyrrs...matter of fact every class is good for pve. oh and just for your info bro, dont be jealous for these "lethals". when their teeth get kicked out by armor destruction and triple sonic slash in oly, they wanna kill themselves. every class is "lethal" in its own way.

 

fastest ingame? i would like to ask you how many percent per hour you reached with 3 tyrrs in a pt?

cause i haven't tried it but i'm quiet sure cr is a lot faster!

2 yuls(98), and 3 othells(97+) at cr is by far the fastest way to xp if you know how to do and if ppl are awake.

and there is one big bonus at cr - you don't need uber gear.

at soh it simply takes to long to pull all the mobs, you just stand still waiting(wasting your time). at cr you kill 2+ mobs per minute in average every hour. fully buffed up on xp stuff(no bonus xp weeks), then you can make a little more than 4% per hour.

i just noticed many saying; buy a good weapon.... ehhh? you really don't get it, at cr you need 1 thing... lethals... no summoners, no wynns, no feohs...and no low lvl yul/othells..

the weapon doesn't matter at all...

*to answer the topic creator; go soh. making a cr pt by yourself means you probably have to take low lvl lethals and then the xp is ***** anyway. cause othells 97+ and yuls 98, don't bother to have a summoner/tyrr/feoh if it's not a friend or smt.

 

its not the fastest exp. i make faster having no active iss for debuff and 1 dd leeching. (means 2 leechers in pt and no iss debuff) (5-6% per hour on items @ lvl98, 10-12% on lvl97)
