how come l2.exe has not been optimized to allow the use of more than 2gb of ram ?

can we get some love ? i for one am tired of lagging in a 7 year old game when 2011 games run perfectly smooth with all settings maxed.

16 gb ram here, but this is not important, lineage is not using your full ram. we can't do anything about it, believe me, if we could do something about that, it would be already done.

 

yes we can, in general, as in the quote in first post. no, we can't do that here unless ncsoft make a silly fix in their side.

 

the fix is so easy honestly. there's no harm in it either :s

 

frost is blocking any change i try to the l2.exe to make it use >2gb ram.

such a "easy" fix needs recompiling all the client. but we agree with you and talked to ncsoft many times. still waiting.

 

seriously whats wrong with this game??
after some time i get ~20fps in toi10 and have to relog
cpu usage(i5 2500) 30%, gpu usage (gtx570) 5-10%, ram maxx 1100mb

 

you know very well that it can be done by applying a proper flag in .exe file, there's even a topic on how to do that on that somewhere on the forums. still, frost will block it so, let's hope that ncsoft will finally understand that and get it done by default in one of next updates if you were also asking for that.

 

can u make frost to let me play with modified systemmsg ?
