Router issue

will innova team make something so we can play if we have router without opening some port? some of us can not make this because of some reasons. if nothing is to be made then we waste our time and fill your forums with useless threads like this. thanks!

you didn't understand me. only on eu version you can not play if you are using router and you can not open ports for communication. why do we need to do that? tell me a name of another mmo that needs this to play on their official servers.

why you can't open all ports in your router?
lot of other mmo use different ports. sample (from wot)

 

in the history of lineage 2 you didn't need to open ports. neither in us / koreea / russia. because some people have wireless network from someone who does not want to modify anything on ports. it is not normal.

world of tanks is created as web based game first. and it is not such massively online game.

 

i had to open ports for l2 when i was playing the game on ncwest's servers. it's related to your network equipment.

 

on ncwest is working. i am playing there until it works on eu. if it will.. no antivirus is present. windows full updated, no firewall. you do not need to open ports on ncwest lol.

 

i can confirm what ice just sad. i can play on every and each l2 server privat or not ( even on ncwest ). the only one i cannot join is eu server.and yes i cannot open/modify anything about the router so is there any chance to play here ? a simple yes or not would be perfect so i don't waste my time waiting and reading the forum every 10 mins for an answer . thank you .

ok... and you have opened outgoing 7777 port (and 2106 for login too i think) as on eu-servers =) if you close it by router - you can not play on ncwest =)
so tell me about your problem more please. on eu you will need 2106+7777 (from ncwest too) + 17453 (one more only for eu).
what do you mean about "can not play on innova"?

 

i did not open any port to play on ncwest. i did not connect to router because i don't have access to it's username and password. when i press play on innova it doesn't do anything except one fading image. no antivirus / firewall present.

i have net from router - getting almost instant dcs 99% of my tries (5 secs after logging in)
after using ping command on server ip result was 0% lost packets and ~80 ping
strange thing is that twice i was able to play w/o dcs for few hours on

i've changed my av twice, now it s avast with exception added to whole l2 folder.

one more thing - when i connect by usb modem i can play freely w/o any dcs

i also cant make any changes in my router, any other advices for me? ;]

icehowler13, launcher lineageii.exe not working properly. usually i take a look of issue through teamviewer (remote access). i'll need http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=8279 (windbg component from winsdk) and much time on your pc to observe our problem...
