Force-close the game?

hello,

sometimes i get disconnected ingame but the disconnect message doesn't show up. if i alt-tab and open task manager, lineage 2 isn't there. so i have no way to close the client and the character just stands there (message sometimes shows up after 10 minutes). is there a way to fix this or force the game to close in some other way?

there are 2 options:

- when message doesnt appear click several times as if you want to target something/go somewhere with your toon - message will appear soon

- hit together ctrl + alt + del and then find process l2.exe and close it

 

none of those work. i left the client up all night, i woke up and it's still stuck without the message. when i open task manager, there is a "lineageii.exe" process, but killing it won't close the client! it is really weird, until a couple of days ago the message used to pop up everytime... :/
