Experiment 66 Skill Enchant at level 99

    a level higher than 99?
    well, that’s fine.
    a skill enchanted more than 10?
    now and then.
    if both combined, am i the best?
    wow, a test!

    purpose: to check how enchanting of [​IMG] exile affects it's chances to land.

    attacker: wynn arcana lord lvl 99, all skills learned, no equipment, buffed with all poems, sonantas, resistances and wizard's harmony.

    target: iss doomcryer lvl 99 with all skills learned, wearing [​IMG] defense type / heavy eternal set, [​IMG] set of eternal jewelry and [​IMG] tauti's ring (half of the tests were done with [​IMG] eternal ring instead of [​IMG] tauti's ring). the character is buffed with with all poems, sonantas, resistances and wizard's harmony.

    test

    during this experiment the attacker used [​IMG] exile at the target 400 times for each of four tests:

    1. target without tauti's ring, exile +0
    2. target with tauti's ring, exile +0
    3. target without tauti's ring, exile +10 [mana cost]
    4. target with tauti's ring, exile +10 [mana cost]

    you can find the chances of landing in the table below.

    conclusion: as you can see, enchanting barely increases the chance of landing. in the current version of the game, the top level of most of skills becomes avaliable only on lvl 99, and maximum enchanting of those skills is +10. the fact that such level of skill is very hard to achive makes the difference in rate of landing even less important.

    and who will oe their skills on cost if they can oe them on chance? (only iss can oe chaos symphony on cost.. but for other class...)

    @blogiete: i don't know what they smoke, but i want the same :confused: in another experiment "damage given to target depends on target's m.atk./p.atk". can't wait for more :d

    thanks for the test, it basically shows what i wanted to know. by putting a skill +10, you don't gain any increase to land rate because the skill level became "higher" :)

    the point of the test was not the cost. but if u are smart ill let u figure why.

    yes, im smart. +10 on cost = sameskill level just less mp use.
    higher skill level = power
    cost = mp usage
    chance = well. this one also can be counted as higher skill level for debuff skills

    correct me if i'm wrong.

    on hi5 skills enchanted on cost also get +time bonus. for example +28-30 fear was ~1min debuff. same was with root and sleep. but in this case. cost doesn't change skill power. power stay same, just mp consumption lowered.. but what i'm talking.. would be nice if peoples who make tests also get some knowledge about game. not log, make some hits to pc/npc, write down everything and logout.
