Special Ability bug

i have
bound inferno staff with magic paralyze

before last maintanace, skill worked fine - monster got hit, skill was activated and enemy was paralyzed - didnt move at all, after last maintance - skill lands perfectly - but nothing happens - no paralyzing action....
