Update doesn't work?

well i start up my pc to contineu playing lineage 2 from yesterday.

but when i go to the launcher in my tray.
i see only : 4game / exit



so i go to 4game, it sends me to an russian website.

i enter for myself : https://eu.4game.com/lineage2/play/
after that i see that i have to update the client.



when i press update i choosed for "now"



after that nothing happens ??? and still nothing happends ???
what do i wrong ???

 

please try the following (it's a known bug)


uninstall 4game application
install a brand new fresh 4game application

you will not loose your installation of lineage, don't worry.

 

well that works for now!
but 4game is installing now another lineage ii map :s
i have to remove the old one? ( lineage2eu ) and how?

 

cancel the download, there is no need to get another client.
reinstall 4game application, and when it asks where you want to install lineage 2, choose the old folder manually

well the updater is now on 75% allready so i will wait and if the game works i will remove the old folder manual ( lineage2eu )
or do i need an "uninstaller application" to remove the old ( lineage2eu ) folder ?

 

no need, you can remove it by your own

 

te same happened to me, i could not update. i ran update in ie when i was logged out. it helped even than before i used always chrome. maybe it will help someone.

 

the thing is that a new version changed the installation path for the client. just set a right path during installation and wait for application checking game files.
