tags: [other game mechanics aspects] jewelry is like shrubbery - you need one to advance if you don't have any on you, you don't stand a chance resistance to feoh attacks, when damage goes down is something that makes these glittering things good to own. purpose: to find out how jewelry set enchantment affects the damage received from a feoh. attacker: feoh soultaker lvl.99, mage buff target: wynn elemental master lvl.99, no buff, different jewelry sets. experiment: feoh attacked the target using elemental spike lvl.8. damage variation was canceled. after each attack the wynn changed jewelry sets. the results of the experiment can be seen in the table below. the decrease in damage was calculated for the same sets with different enchantment levels. conclusion: as you can see from the results, in terms of enchant efficiency blessed eternal set is the champion - when enchanted it reduces the damage by approximately 15%. but one should remember that it doesn't have the maximum base magical defense. despite the fact that other sets give you less decrease in received damage, they provide a higher magical defense stat and a better protection from magical attacks.
how is it possible?? eternal jewelry less m.def but better defense than other jewelry with higher m.def?? bug?? or maybe eternal set gives some set bonus?
really? this is probably one of the best tests they have made. you can see just how much the mdef you get from oe jewels is affecting the damage you receive. very useful to know. maybe you are the one who should get your iq checked instead of making those trash, clueless posts.
w/e. there is no point discuss with 16y old kids who play l2 1st time. even stupids understand more m.def = good. but no. we need test to prove it ))) same as with why element seraph set to 3*120 all parts if you will be lvl 99 and can wear eternal )) gl to get this set.. and later cry omg archer/dagger onehit me 20k 30k etc. now can't remember and too lazy to use search. but test with element attributes defense against wizards would be more useful
so imo all remove daring sonata, use full istina etc instead of valakas/antharas/blessed aq/blessed baium/blessed orfen/any other low mdef jewel because more mdef = good :<
yo , dont look at the % reduction at the eternal , think thats what confusing you . look at mdef/dmg recieved then it will make sense
i always appreciate it when clueless people join the discussion just to make a clown out of themselves. even more so when they try to explain themselves and just keep drowning in their own stupidity. it's a pointless struggle. such a beautiful thing to watch.
by this logic next thread should be: is it worth enchant armors to +6 8 or more. and how it affects other dd's damage... if game created to
