    the holidays are finally here and as we know it's the time for all your dreams to come true. may the odds be ever in your favor and the drop be plentiful.

    hope you've been nice this year so that santa will bring you a lot of presents.

    the rules are simple:

    1) kill monsters, get frost squash nectar [​IMG]

    !nb: awakened characters will not get nectar from monsters that are more than 5 levels lower than they are. for non-awakened characters it is 9 levels.

    2) find santa in any town or village of the world. he will exchange it for frozen squash seed [​IMG] and frozen large squash seed [​IMG].


    3) planting your squash:

    !nb: frosted large young squash and frosted young squash will last 3 minutes. all other squashes have 1.5 minutes timer.

    each seed can develop into different sqashes listed below.

    from frozen squash seed [​IMG] you can grow a frosted young squash, love it, nurture it, pour nectar on it and then finally smash it open to get a reward!

    and frozen large squash seed [​IMG] develops into frosted large young squash (given that you have poured a decent amount of nectar on it), that can be smashed only by a group of people.

    nb: the big squash can be destroyed only with souvenir weapons that can be purchased from santa clause, so look out and don't get hurt.

    sometimes, if you're lucky a wild snowman appears from frosted large squash.

    the nice looking red one grants you 200 large snowballs! talk to him and you will get snowman's buff that will replenish character's vitality in safe zones for 3 hours. and if you're lucky enough you will get another 100 large snowballs.

    this guy has a chance to appear after breaking frosted king squash.     		the evil faced blue one will give you just 100 large snowballs.
    but he's also very talkative so he'll give you snowman's buff that will replenish character's vitality in safe zones for 3 hours, if you decide to communicate with him.

    this guy has a chance to appear after breaking frosted high quality large squash.
    we've heard that aden reconstruction society would be most interested in those snowballs.

    so the general rules are:

    1) hunt to get nectar. you can't get nectar from monsters that are 9 levels lower than you.
    2) get souvenir weapons from santa npc (1 nectar = 1 weapon).
    3) squashes and snowmen disappear after 1.5 - 3 minutes.

    the event is devided into 3 stages.

    1. 25.12.13 - 7.01.14

    the major period of the event.

    monsters drop frost squash nectar.
    santa clause exchanges frost squash nectar for seeds and other items.

    2. 7.01.14 - 14.01.14

    the final period of the event.

    frost squash nectar does not drop anymore.
    santa clause stays in towns to exchange items.

    3. 14.01.14

    maintenance day.

    santa clause will leave elmoreden until next year.

    the following items are going to be removed from the game:

    frost squash nectar
    snowball
    large snowball
    frozen squash seed
    frozen large squash seed
    snowman's buff

    and one question. are descriptions of drops from squashes are proper, because for some of them difference is unnoticeable.

    plz return adventure buffs to lvl 90, cant lvl up 85-87 without buffs, nornil party exp to big for this lvls.

    drop chance for frost squash nectar is depending on game time or sth? couse sometimes its definitely better drop and other time its really poor;/

    the last squash event droped many more as i remmber 10 a hour is just not enought .. better items from the cubics :)
