graphical problem after update

since update, my friend cant see any char on his character choose screen, but can log in.
he cant see any character or npc including his char. but he can use items from inventory. he can see buildings.
i can see his char with mine and he can follow me.

tell him to try hit "fix" at eu.4game.com. it seems that some files are corrupted.
