Looking for some advice about tank race

im playing with a hellknight and going to ping 85 in a couple of days.

im reading bad feedback about the dark avenger, many people says the elf/dark elf tanks are much better.

my intention with the tank is olympiads and pve. i must change the class? or i can get a competitive character with the human tank?

i never played the other tanks, so at this moment i dont have any preferences about the race.

i started playing l2 7 years ago, this game thought me that in order to enjoy it, you have to listen to your heart and play what you like not what owns or what other people say.

i for one love the sk (shillien knight), there were times where sk was the worst tank but that did not stop me for playing it and have fun.
