CPU usage of l2 client

i just noticed each client on my computer is using 20% cpu power in town... is this normal? i doubt it is...

i got a i7 quad core processor, on ncwest running 8-9 clients with 90% max usage... here with 2 clients i use 50% cpu power (including os stuff)?

anyone knows why this is so high? i doubt in towns i need this much processing power.
