[item modification] we took a thousand of eternal breastplates, took lots of scrolls and then enchanted all. according to success enchanting rates they are not that eternal, on the whole in this experiment we are going to check the chances of enchanting armor to +8. we are going to use eternal breastplate (heavy armor) and scroll: enchant armor (r-grade). we are going to conduct 2 tests. during the first one, we are going to enchant items without stopping from +3 to +8, to find out how hard it is to enchant armor to +8 on the first run. the second test shall be about the chance of successful enchanting of each step. we are going to enchant 1000 items for each step. for first test we took 1000 eternal breastplates and enchanted them from +3 to +8. the results are shown in this table: {tbody}{tr}levelnumber of items{tr}+31000{tr}+4675{tr}+5232{tr}+667{tr}+711{tr}+81{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tbody} for second test we enchanted 1000 eternal breastplates at each step to determine the chance of success at each step. you can find the results in the table below: {tbody}{tr}stepchance{tr}+3 -> +465,7%{tr}+4 -> +534,8%{tr}+5 -> +624,0%{tr}+6 -> +718,8%{tr}+7 -> +814,7%{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tbody} conclusion: as you can see from the first test, it is pretty hard to enchant armor to +8. we've managed to enchant to +8 only one item out of a thousand. we can also see from the table how chances of enchanting decrease after each step.
base enchant rate: 66% +4 66% +5 43.56% (0.66^2) +6 28.75% (0.66^3) +7 18.97% (0.66^4) +8 12.52% (0.66^5) +9 08.26% (0.66^6) +10 05.45% (0.66^7) +16 00.45% (0.66^13)
that's not correct. that whould only work if the enchant rate was constant. but as you see it isn't. the higher enchant value of the item, the lower the chance to go even further. so it's like this: +4 65,70% +5 22,86% (0,657*0,348) +6 05,49% (0,2286*0,24) +7 01,03% (0,0549*0,188) +8 00,15% (0,0103*0,147)
1 out of 1k isnt 0,15% ^^ tough dunno if its urs or admin mistake or its simply aproximation issue, aint much into chcking it xd
can you make same test with blessed scroll enchant armor r grade ? and you can include same test light and robe armor set ? we dont play with heavy armor
1 out of 1000 is 0,10% but this is a statistic experiment. you need a sufficiently large number of iterates in order for your possibility to reach the expected theoritical value. it's a theorem called central limit theorem in probability theory.
blessed is the same as normal giant got 1 or 2% better rate but in the next update who will run with a +8 set is a foking ebay scrub ps: can we update the test with the enchant stones? would like to see how random is this korean software and is it remunerative to get stones
