dark elf necro or stormscreamer

whats better on low scale pve, pvp ? ( 7 ppl pt pve, 14v14 max )
right now i am feoh storm, but if i change class via chaos essence, i would become soultaker but with stats of stormscreamer ( highest int ), so whats gonna be best?

 

since we are close to epeisodeon (i hope) i will answer you based on the new update:

they are both good for pve(class i mean), the main difference between both from mi pov is that soultaker are better for single target because gloom, while ss would be better for aoe (cause the new empowering echo, wich mean higher matak for aoe).

about pvp, its depends on where and how you will do pvp, for same reason mentioned above. if you will make snare and aoe dmg, ss are better, but if you will be focusing 1 target then soultaker with gloom are better (not just for you but for all the dds focusing the same target). at the end they both are good enought for group pvp, so choose based on what u feel better.

as dark elf soultaker you will have high matak combined with strong 1vs1 debuffs. transfer pain and sumons will allow you to make pretty good ganks while chasing wars.

 

thnx for the info, but u told kinda what i have known/had idea.. i am really sad now, dont know what to choose i really like the idea having stats as storm+gloom+transfer pain but i also like tons of mattack ( but i feel like it is gonna be better only for, as u said, heavy aoe xp or for mass raids, where is at least 1 necro debufing with gloom , tough deciding here, i am gonna log on pts and check some dmges, i hope it will help me decide

 

keep in mind, that high matak dont neccesary mean higher damage.

-50% mdef and -50 to all element resist is far better than 25% more matak.

25% increase in matak didnt depend on situation, and ur damage will be constant, while gloom depens on your target state (celestial/brillant purge/healer cleansing him)

yes u have right about a comb of necro+another feoh.

at the end, the best u can do is test it both and choose what u fell more confortable.

if u ask me what i will choose of both, i prefreer dark elf soultaker with arcana (no wizard spirit) tp and a 2h blunt with empo+acu, or even 1h blunt+sigil with same sas.

 

i know 35% mattack isnt a big deal, it should be like +9%dmg, i am at like 65% decided that i will change :d

damn i just checked skills on l2wiki.. necro doesnt have elemental burst and i think i read on patchnotes that elemental destruction should debuff 100% the target, so necro has 1 spell with 620power less.. damn *** my life
so now i need to decide what to take, 35%mattack more ( emp echo+better wizardy )and 1 620 power spell or gloom+transfer pain .. seems like if i was oly w hore i should go for necro right now :d pls some help me decide

ok for other people reading, i went on ptsand tested dps on aden punch npc.. well, i am changing to soultaker and i guess i am not alone, there will be tons of necromancers soon :d

 

it's simple:

-ss = better for aoe, better for pve, better when undebuff buffs are on, better with avarange dmg received cuz in epeisodion arcane shield will be better(less mana burn, less damage taken).

-necro = better for 1x1, better with another feoh with u, better for olly, better in over all damage in pvp/mass pvp cuz of summon + tp.

keep in mind that sph will burn mana as hell cuz emp echo gonna burn more mana and if u need to activate arcane power, will burn even more mana.

slh is a good choice for pvp too, cuz of +10% pvp damage.

 

i already did some testing on pts, dark elf soultaker 101%, switched 2 days ago :d

 

take necro is bestest

 

if you have old ap,char stacked for mattack go for sph srs
those 300k+ mattack screens from goha with crusher crits hitting for 50+k on players are tempting.
+you cant rely on gloom too much in pvp,and pets/tp are worse than mana shield.

p.s mana isnt problem anymore

 

i can always change back, for now, i will stay as necro
and i dont have arcane power

 

if you are still exping, imo u should've keep sph...and damm, why the hell didnt u keep it q_q

 

i am 99 ... and that mattack from emp echo, well, with this ******ed random dmg it feels pointless

 

emp echo is better than gloom when you aoe. specially when you snare and do the 2 aoe's.
