Game doesn't launch / disconnects often

hey

i've got a huge issue with launching the game / launching 2nd window.

i'd like to find solution for it as it's making gaming close to impossible at times, and especially pissing when i have 1h to play or so and i am spending 30 minutes to log in!

i start from the beginning.

im using google chrome as browser but it wasnt really possible to login to game with it so i switched to firefox.

nowadays when im opening https://eu.4game.com/lineage2/play/ instead of play button the button says "install", while the game is "undoubtedly" installed already..

if im waiting a few seconds its switching to "play".

then, as i click on it its like a gamble. 50/50% that the game actually does launch, or nothing happens.
after the previous maintenances it got much worse. i click the play button and when i wait to game launch i check task manager and see the game is running (?). but no launching screen or login. i end the process then and try again. after 2-3 tries it sometimes does work and allow me to log in to game.

sometimes i reach to the server selection screen, and it stops there. i press enter or click ok- no response.

i try to restart the pc/sign in and out on site login screen/end process when game doesnt start and try again, but its pure timewasting.

logging in a second window is even worse. i find myself being unable to box often as its like 30% chance the game starts..

and the really terrible part is the random disconnects during gameplay. last night i've got disconnected 3 times within 1.5 hours, that is insanely pissing! and this whole logging-in misery then start again..

but i sometimes just decide to leave it as i dont really have mood to play anymore.

i tried checking files, put l2/frost to exceptions at antivirus. still the problem persists.

im looking for any ideas that might help! what am im doing wrong?

it's getting worse day by day to be honest. especially pissing while it is double exp week and i had free days.. i'm continously being disconnected in average once per hour.

wasting either my time, energy, vitality etc (and the money i bought them for).

 

please follow the instructions given in the post above yours and provide the information required in the thread given in razzly's post.

the most suspected for me is avast! . i dont recommend this antivirus because it's one of the worst (my conclusion when this antivirus deleted my whole windows because it thought it's a virus! ) antivirus ever. but it is your call.

for tests please uninstall it completely. it is proved that antivirus works even if it's switched off completely. do the same with firewall (well you have the windows one, you can switch it off aswel as it gives none protection).

should the problem persist , please download this tool, unzip it to the main lineage ii folder and then launch and choose "4game-service" option.

i've downloaded the check4game prog and ran through all the steps last night. gonna do a "test" today to see if disconnects still going to happen or not.

about switching off firewall, i dont know..

avast is easy to use and user friendly and i was quite satisfied with it so far. i've put the game to exceptions so it shouldnt mean problem.

moreover, i've been using avast! since i've got my laptop and im playing on core since quite a few months, why would this problem start to occur now all sudden?

i will give it a try if needed to uninstall it and see if login process will go any easier and i can get rid of the dc's.

2 other strange things that i have forgot to mention: first is that sometimes when i try to launch the game a small, black, blank window opens at the middle of the screen, and nothing more from there.

other is that at the game launch i see epeisodion and lindvior at times. dont know why its changing back.
