How do you get 85 in "2" days?

hello!

im returning to l2 after i stopped playing on interlude....

rolled sws to become iss, only to find out im of no use for pts (making me solo all time) thanks to 1h fullbuff.

no matter how hard i keep hitting things in places recommended (woa atm, or toi), im going very slowly. it's sort of frustrating, spending 20 mins of solo soulshot ****ing for 1000 dmg crits, rewarding me with rougly 15%. (im 68 now). thats when i actually manage to find good spot, most of the time, there are archers/mages/pts rolling like bulldozers all over the place. and there i ppl in my clan saying, that its possible to reach 85 and awaken in like 2 days.

how? any advices? i prefer to play with ppl and have some fun with actions, not solo-grinding, then flagging occassionaly only to be nailed by enemy mentor for 20k.

i would say that 'real' game starts at 85. and when it comes to making 85, isses except doomcryer/dominator are kinda screwed. you don't have (good) aoe skills so you're stuck to solo target and you have to run up to each mob for it... a/w.

if it was me i would probably try to play like half archer till 76 with bow and maybe even light set, making quests (decent xp). after that you'll either have to make more solo xp or find someone nice that is 85 and can power level you at swampland.

be patient, after 85 iss is very much needed ^^

 

1st of all, if u dont use xp items ( vita pots, xp runes, nevits, emperor scrolls, premium acc, mentor buff ), u r gonna exp slowly ( it is 1 rate afterall )
2nd, from 65th lvl, u can do so called 900item quests, u as sws have 900item quest in swamp of screams, collect 50/50+900 q items ( they drop from any mob in the loc ) and q will give u 155kk exp (= + 2 lvls if u r 69/70 ), same story in woa from 70-76, same story in varka( ketra for mages ), 81- oel mahum/plains of lizardmen( both q r daily and give 550kk exp +-, which is 1 full lvl ) - u will need help on these qs
or power level in altar of evil from 76, but even then, without xp items, it will go slowly, with all xp items mentioned above, u can make char from 76 50% - 81 62% in 1h, if u have 85 lvl summoner+iss, but u will need 2 pa accounts or 3 pcs or someone who will do it for u
dont forget, it is 1 rate, if u dont feel like it, stop playing, cause it is getting even worse after 85

edit: getting lvl isnt the real problem, getting eq is but u as iss dont need much though

i am fine with 1 rates, as long as there is fun involved = playing with ppl, doing stuff and pvp. (thats why i chose iss afterall )
for the 900q, im screwd, i already did that, without knowing its best to get 900 items :-/

i'm already using bow, because its simply most efficient atm. tried some aoeing with pole at toi, but its high risk/low reward. guess i will have to invest in those xp items afterall....

so, if i got it right. do dailies, survive somehow to 76, then find a rich husband and a clan willing to lvl me up a bit... ?

 

it's ok, the 900 quests are daily. be sure to team up with a few others, as the quest items are given to everyone in the party.

if you ding 85 you will be able to get mentor gear, which should help you get to 90 easily. around that time you will probably start doing istina and you will gain some money for twilight gear. for a bit of an extra fund increase in the beginning few levels, you could level up your subclass to 85 in order to get noble. in that case you can participate in the olympiad and gain two giant's energies per month, which net you an extra 11kk per month. also, at level 90, on the 1st and 15th each month there are instanced antharas raids, for which you will gain some adena as well. don't worry, you'll get there, and being in requiem / immortal the first few levels isn't bad at all as an iss.

hello, on 68 lvl ur place is varka low for sure(mobs have melee weakness) if u are solo. u can make like 71 at varka low and then go varka top. till 76 u can stay there. at lvl 76 find someone to plvl u for 1-2h at bloody swamp and u are 85. make 86 and go s3 till lvl 95. regards.

 

sorry 2 energies per month? , dunno if u know but there are olympiads every week, at the worst case scenario he'll be getting 4 every month as u get 10 points each weak and u need 10 fights for 2 so it will be 2 per 2 weeks = 4 per month (as i said worst case), meanwhile in best case if u have luck and u are vs lowbies/afk/boxes u'd be able to win and keep your points in order to make mroe ges as the quest for 2(10 fights) or 1 (5 fights) is daily

 

2h of powerlvl seems legit, but u forgot to add he will need all exp items possible activated from my own experience, from 76,5 lvl to 81,62 it takes exactly 1h ( pa, vitality, rune, nevit 50%, emperor scroll, mentor buff )

well from my exp : 2h max (1 on pagrios breeze + pa only and rest just burn all) on the proper place in bloody swamp to 85.

 

i dont know about bloody swamp, i exp 76-77 in altar of evil ( black dogs and black flying mobs ) and 77-81 on those big pigs and orange golems spot, from 81 i do oel mahum and lizardmen 900item daily
