Is it or is it not full of bots? (and other infos)

initial note: flamming is not my intention. i am currently downloading it, but my connection ****s and i'll take about 2~3 days to completely download it (though i play on shilen with 0 lag). i just want to know people's opinion before i can take a look myself.

i recently found out about this deal that 4game bought the license and i'm interested in the bot-free server.

i played god when it was first released on shilen and i've been out of l2 for almost 2 years. i still have my 99 aeore eva's saint on shilen, but that server is currently (may 2014) completely full of bots.
i did some digging and i like some insight from people that is playing here to tell me what they really think. here is my conclusion so far:

- adena on shilen for us$5 = 100kk, here they sell it for us$25 = 100kk. [5 times more expensive]
- 5x more expensive = 5x less bots?
- some people claim there's bots that never gets banned.
- there's a paid bot currently working (i couldn't fit it anywhere, just a few mentions of it).
- it's not much worth playing here if you're not willing to be pa.
- frost protection can be dangerous to me if i use online banking in the same computer the game is running (something about frost having kernel full access on the client machine).
- innocent people can get banned for botting from time to time due to the strict policy against bot.

note: i didn't research a lot of bots so i can use one nor i was searching for adena price so i could buy. this is strictly speculation of the server. i never used bot, but 5 minutes on the internet i could connect to shilen with a bot. 3 hours and i couldn't find anyone handling links with working bot for innova. this is what i want.

also, i'd like to know how's the server economy and population. will i find party to level up from 40~80? or is the matchmaking 90+ only (like shilen)?
how much does it cost a clean eternal set?

- from time to time ad bots appear in towns pming ev eryon they r selling adena for 5-6eur per 100kk
-about someone botting never getting banned - no idea
-paid bot which works here - probablym, no idea
-playing without pa - well if u dont rush anywhere, dont buy it. ( 9e per month isnt that bad, it gets even cheaper if u pa for longer period )
-about frost being dangerous - dont know about that, but internet banking is safe, cause loging into + every transaction made ( credit card included-3d secure service ) on the bank acc requiers a 1time useable password which is being sent on my phone + ur bank covers ur money in case ur acc gets hacked ( and it is criminal act, so police gets involved too )
-innocent ppl getting banned - in 6 months i have been gaming here so far i have never heard/read an ything about it
1-85 is solo bussiness, u r doing daily quests + one time quests called kekropus letter - u get exp+steel door coins which u use for buying c-s equip

 

not full bots as isee only dv bots stay alive since 1 month i kill them every night but they still trying to farm i have a screens fraps sended tickets but they still alive

 

lately bot activity increased but still its far from being so bot stacked like ncwest.

one thing you forgot to mention is "events" for l2store in ncwest style coming here too. during past 5 month~ were was few of these pay to win "events" when you can get high end of game items or items currently not obtainable in game for euros.
these 2 (increasing bot activity and l2store "events" in ncwest style)are major drawbacks for now.

on good side you can actually find gm`s online from time to time,
pa is not necessary thing to have but w/o it you will need half year to reach at least 97 (true story- never had pa, still 97...), while with pa ppl making 99 in 2 months~ with a bit nolifing,
easier to find exp parties at 87+ since ppl actually playing- not programs. leveling now till 85 is pure solo grind + some quests.
clean eternal set depending on type 1,5 -2,5b adena
population? no1 knows exactly but lets try to count- there are 4 main clans with peak online 100-200 ppl, 3 smaller clans with peak 40-70, like 5~ small but fairly noticeable clans with peak 20-40, shi̡tload (lets say 20) of forming clans with 5-20 peak, and rest like 100-200 randoms at peak, so in total about 1-1,5k real players at peak+500~ boxes and + 50~ bots

 

i think there is a slim chance you will find bots here

 

made a char yesterday and i am currently lvl 67 and i havent seen a single bot. ofc this might be diffrent in other areas but it seems to be as bot free as any game can be. (as you know games will always have bots to some extent)

 

nobody bot, cuz it doesn't worth at all, they cut adena drop from all places
will take a long to get r99 set, without nolifing, and without buying adena, or selling l2 store.

 

started today and already saw two gm characters (cmonyx and some gm) online. though initial zones are kinda empty, i saw the matchmaking having a notable amount of players and the server doesn't seem full 99 like ncwest (shilen is as old as core, right?). although it's discouraging starting all over again from total scratch, the server does seem to be really stable and fun.

by the way, ping from south america does seem great.

 

server is a way hardcore in general. about the bot issue you are concerned, well i am here since last may. i moved from magmeld and i never logged back there. the bots here are a way x50 less than there. i mean come on, if you find bots here people are qqing on forums to ban them like crazy but there they are so many that most of people do not even bother to report at all lol...
also the server is much healthier than there but that is actually the thing that makes it kinda hardcore for new players. adena do not flow like water in a fountain. it will take time indeed if you do not ebay cheat or be extremely lucky to get good equipment, but the solution to make it happen sooner is to get a cp in a big clan and get stacked up by clan events. (dragons, baiums, ant queens, liliths, tezzas etc)
