Dear Innova Staff...

.. first of all thank you for everything you did for keeping alive this game also in europe.
i left l2 around 3 years ago, after 6 years, but i can't forget how many happy years i spent playing this amazing mmo.
many things are changed after god and the free to play formula, many new ppl came and many others left the game. the game is 10 years old and a lot of old players are now grown adults with kids and stuffs. but i know a lot of them, and i swear that they are still in love with l2. we discussed a lot of times about the old times and the amazing memories that we had in game.
there is really a huge oldschool community that want to comeback. you can't imagine.
so my question is: can you please bring here l2 classic (started in korea last month)?
we are a lot of ppl who are just waiting for this.
it would be the best present you could made to the community.

i am speaking as a player here, my opinion has nothing in common with innova's ( as i am pretty sure they have their plans ), but :

watch it for a while. tell me, with your kids and family and work, do you really want to exp two and a half hours to get ~19% on lvl ~30-35 ?
do you really want to pickup less adena then the costs of your shots ?
right now on the stream , there is a necro lvl 39, he's killing mobs in dp and he is getting 0.02% per mob, with average of 3 to 5 nukes per mob, casting one nuke takes average of 7 seconds.
i just don't understand you people, really.

edit: oh yes and the adena he picks is ~60. i can tell you ( from playing on the ru ertheia pts = same adena drop rates as on classic ) that mobs on sea of spores ( lvl 50+ ) also drop ~60 adena. you won't have adena even to go cry in the corner properly. i know how it is, i played back in ~2003-2004, but beats me why grown ups with less time to play than we had 10 years ago, would like to do that.

 

becouse as far as i understood from korean, the server gonna be paid, basicly lets say you put 20 euros per month right- per player? imagine 2000 players 20 eur per month, there wont be needed p2w events to keep server ''working'' that's why some ppl take that server idea as last chance to play the game having fun and not getting owned by some scrubs with set +11 and donated weapons + 10 lol

just my opinion though!

 

you guys totally forgot that the classic server is not a "server" its any event for a period of time

 

all the servers in korea are paid. they don't have the same thing as we do. playing there is free up to 85 ( on the normal/god servers ), and on the classic you pay per hour-out-of-safe-zone. you can't be sure how it is going to be here.

 

even thought i vouche omegashin post, besides all, is not going to happen, sadly.

 

well if they gonna do something similiar here, it will be good unless they make it free-to play and put advantages at l2 store, then it will survive max 2 months and will end like all the rest private servers that tried to do the same for ''old players'' .

 

better pay monthly for the game than p2w witch that drop rate

are you serious? that was fun long time ago. but xp low lvl chars now is kinda annoying, at least part 1>20 later 2 raids and 38 ) so 1st part ~20min and it's like eternity. and there.. i remember in teon when i started to play. vitality was added to game, was gracia part2 or still part1 cant remenber. it took ~2 days to make char 40+. and small thing but after lvl 25 i found bot and used it for xp cuz was kinda boooooooring. like shiny said mob 0.02 0.01% huh... and how you think, how many peoples will join that "clasic server"? an dhow many of them leave it before 2nd prof change quests chain (at 35lvl) ?
for current comuinity best option would be server mid rates interlude-hi5 with regular wipe..

 

this is funny, 60-70% of the server population at server start was people from private servers, who couldn't afford to pay or didn't want to pay a monthly rate to play, less so to exp with a real 1x rate pre god.

the rest of the server was formed by people that played on the official 1x rate server but used a bot or something other to level up faster.

if they make a classic server
1.) might end up full of bots.
2.) might be empty.

 

3.) might be great fun as well

at least, i've never heard that opening a server killed anybody. but this is just my thoughts, not even close to official announcement

 

innova_ru already announced they are really interested in opening a l2-classic-server in ru!


also from what i know the korean classic is not only an event. it will stop at one chronicle, dunno which and stay as it is. they want to check how big the interest of the community is and then decide.

also if even with bots, who doesnt miss the night exp???

i hope innova opens an euro classic server with population of 200 ppl tops . this way i will be sure i'm 50% of this 200 ppl .

 

l2 classic without l2 store button or something.

@elroina better play here around 1 year for get owned by a guy with 2 months full botted and full donor with set +8++ and weapon pvp

 

but thats the point.
do u really believe that u can keep such a l2 classic alive with those low drop and xp rates when nowadays ppl want to have/get everything as fast as possible?
i dont think a l2 classic server could hold a steady population of +1k ppl. at the beginning a lot of ppl would join cause of the nostalgic feeling they have. but after a while they will realise not everything was that awesome as they maybe remember and qquit again.

 

i don't get why people want to live to a past again , lineage2 was good ,but it's over atm we have god and who wants play is playing ,and people who don't .. aren't playing and people who qq about this p2w tell me game in witch there nothing that u can't buy to take advantages of others? seriously is 2014 .. wake up and stop on every threat talk about p2w and bs like that srls geting tired reading same stuff ..

 

you say we have god now and we have to like it or quit! but did you know the creator of god in korea was fired due to the public outcry against it even in korea. almost nobody likes god compared to the way the game used to be and that's mos of the reason why they introduced the classic server event...to get people that stopped playing l2 hooked back on it.
