What class is most sought in groups currently ?

i'am considering returning to lineage 2 and wanted to ask which classes are currently most sought after on the server, especially pvp wise?

 

tank and iss i would say. but i would never play class "what is needed", you should play what you prefer.

 

thats the problem, i prefer supportive roles.

i thought iss is more a dual boxed character and not an active one?

 

how you can box iss in pvp? i thought you was talking about pvp.

 

i'am, but aint iss more of a passive gameplay ? unlike healer for example which is more reactive?

 

then you never played in good pvp. iss has so many things to do in pvp, it's not only buffer. everything is about gameplay. if you want play passive in pvp, well then sorry but you are useless.

 

i didn't say that i wanted to take a passive role, just had the concept of the iss being passive in my mind. so what about the iss makes him more of an active class? and what race would make a decent iss ? orc dominator ?

 

i would say hierophant is good class for pvp. but you can hear lot of different opinions.

good iss in pvp - ress ppl, debuff enemies, use angel touch on dd/healer, check buffs of pt, check enemies cele/br/rescue, cc enemies etc etc. at least that's what iss in my party do.

 

hierophant ? why not domi ? or bd ? or sws ? is it just more asthetics ?

 

because cooldown reduction, you have better reuse on br and angel touch, which is very important skill. but also ppl take for example sws coz of deff. domi ... i would not say it's best iss in pvp. also you can exp only with clan.

if you want to play dominator, make iss doomcryer, get 99, then use chaos essence. if you do it right, as far as i remember, you are able to keep old buffs (the ones who work with randoms). else your exping will be a nightmare... since a domi can't buff anything but clan members; and i highly doubt you will be able to get a clan party for all instances/find people who want to go with 2 iss, especially on lower lvls.

also, lvling hierophant to 85 is quite... let's say, not really comfortable.

 

yeah, i dont think soloing a hierophant till 85 is... well i doubt i stay sane doing it thats why iam thinking of dual boxing him but dont know what to play to get him up to 85... or you are right i might just go dc and use the chaos essence

 

in moment, when you start box iss, you will never play it active. and to be honest, with pa is really not so hard lvling anything till 85 ...

 

you cant change from dc to dominator and you cant change anything in maestro. those two classes need to be main w/o any changes.
for my opinion sws its very good because of more def, archer resist and miniud with healing if you add 1h sword with health sa+shield difference between other iss and you can be visible (survivalability). dc has one good skill for coc/olympiad which is >freezing flame< after awakening; bd has extra rapsody but just for him. choose depends what you need.

 

enchanter awakened from orc can switch to dominator.

 

yep, u can see boxed iss for faster lvl up main chars and so on, but everything depends on u. u can see cp all time lf good isses and i don't think they think about box :d
all supports are needed in pvp, if u like that class and play well

 

maybe you can start and level up dominator to 85 lvl, then use chaos essence to change to other class, lvl to 99, and then change back to dominator? though not sure you can

 

no point since you can level a doomcryer 1-99 then change to dominator

 

what another class? you can't change from iss so i don't any point in your post.
