Olympiad period October 2014

dear team,

after the issues we had concerning the time change, regarding the oly period, we saw a lot of drama and whining in the general discution section.
what's done is done. nevermind the compensations and so on... but we need some very important information that only the gm crew could provide. after the work-around fix, that gave hero status to the heroes from previous month, the oly periods was changed. we had shared limit of 30 matches for 01.11.2014 + 07.11.2014, we will have shared amount of 30 matches for 08.11.2014 and 14.11.2014 and so on. with other words, because of the bug we have shared period of 2 days for saturday and the ongoing friday, instead of the usual friday and saturday (2 days in a row).
if nothing change, we will have 30 matches for 22.11.2014 and the last friday of the month - 28.11.2014.
my question is: are we going to have new matches for 29.11.2014? or the oly period will finish after 28.11.2014? or we will have additional 30 matches for the shared period of 29.11.2014 and 05.12.2014 and oly month will finish on 06.12.2014?

well i am not a gm but i can answer your question,

the shared period is normal way of olympiad not a bug, since the 1st day of the month was saturday.
regardless there was a timechange or not, olympiad reset or not, it would be like this.
and yes you will have new 30 match for the last day of olympiad (29.11.2014)


these are special month in lineage, the next will be 2015 august.

 

the bug hasn't really moved the cycle. 1-7 was first week, 7-14 - second week etc. so on 29th on november you will have more matches and the oly cycle will finish when november ends.
