    experiment: during this experiment, we shall check the chance of avoiding a killing strike from an npc or a player with different luc values.

    target: tyrr grand khavatari of lvl 99, all skills learnt, no buffs, no equipment.

    attacking npc: orbis guard level 95
    attacking character: yul sagittarius, all skills learnt, no buffs. equipped with lindvior thrower (top-grade).

    experiment: we did plain strikes on the target (or npc did it), every hit was enough for the target to be killed. however, in some cases our target was saved from death by triggered luc that blocked all damage from the hit. when it happened, a message appeared on the system chat saying “evaded killing blow. lady luck watches over you!†along with an animation of a four-leaf clover above characters head. we have done 1000 hits for each of 6 tests and the results can be found in the table below:

    {tr}{tr}{tr}{tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}
    luc
    pve
    pvp
    32
    4,3%
    5,7%
    52
    9,1%
    8,2%
    200
    17,9%
    17,7%

    conclusion: as you can see from the results, luc may save you from dying in both pvp and pve fights, and increasing your luc stat will increase the chance of triggering this feature. however, luc does not protect you lethal blows, «lethal» and «half-kill», and it does not lower the chance of their success.
