major problem. game doesn't start. solution

bored that game wont start after downloading? here is my solution.

1) open 4game website, click play, when prompted press '' now ''

2) open 4game folder. for ex.: c:/program files/4game/4game.

3) try launching all 4game apps : 4gamelauncher, 4gameservice, 4gametray, 4gameupdater

4) after installing 4gameupdater, he will re-direct you to 4game website, click play, if prompted press '' now '' (use google chrome as default web browser)

5) then, the game should load, but you get error. it's supposed to be like that. it's normal.

6) so, go to control panel, and uninstall 4game.

7) download new launcher from : http://www.uploadking.com/oci1xw9f46

8) install it, it will re-direct you to the 4game site again (use google chrome as default web browser)

9) press start/play/launch (i dont remember what was that title :d)

10) installer should load, frost will start, wait till game appear.

11) voila, you in game!

i don't know if this works for you guys, but what i did..
i donloaded game, they pressed play, but the problem with new version of 4game etc etc. i pressed to update now, and it still didn't work! :d i just logged off (pc), then log in and try again >>> everything works fine for me now! ^_^

browser: google chrome (dunno if it changes smtn)

and it still doesnt work...

 

could it be possible that only vista/win7 can load? my friends have no problems, but they're using win7, i guess its not compatible with win xp?

 

yes, it's compatible with win xp

 

apart from the op i can give u a few advices as well :
-make sure u have your latest java update installed for your browser;
- if u have basic browser issues , try deleting the cache;

- if you are having issues with frost , delete the contents of the frost folder and check your files via web-site ( it will redownload frost files , and you will get rid of the issue ) ; if u still have the issue after doing that , make sure u close most background programs , trying to figure out what might cause this issue.

- if u get critical errors upon starting the client , delete god system and make a check files , or if u have the patience u might as well re install it ; make sure also you have the latest updates for install shield wizard .
- if the game doesnt start at all , and you dont get any errors , start with the basic stuff like doing a "chkdsk" ; make sure you have latest drivers , direct x ; check the files of the game again , some system files might have gotten corrupted during install ;

- if u have issues with dotnet because of older versions , try using a registry cleaner? if upon uninstalling them doesn't work;

- if nothing works u can always do a simple format of the windows drive , which always helps ;

- if you have an old account that u used to play on .ru servers ( like i do ) , try changing it , it didn`t work for me either , simply wouldnt allow me to start the client.

things to be mentioned : i use chrome , 7 x64 , and everything is ok; installed the client on firefox / xp also worked perfect

i admit that the way to install the client is relatively new , and the staff could`ve made smth much easier and conservative as well : torrent / or a simple basic installer like ncna has .

p.s. make sure your host files are clean , firewall doesn't block anything , and antivirus didn't à¤ttack "your client"

or maybe innovas client is not compatible with xp

im using win 7 x86, no errors still.

 

it is , and i don't think they can mod the client so much as to make incompatible with an os.

 

but with ncsoft client its working

 

it doesnt work with xp... innova works for microsoft for sure and they all want to kill xp!!
