    hey guys i got a question,

    im running a system on windows 7 with the following components:

    graphic: msi 2gb d5 x gtx770 twin frozr r
    ram: g.skill ddr3 8gb 1600-999 ares lp ab k2
    power supply: thermaltake berlin 630w atx23
    cpu: intel core i7-3770k 3500 1155
    mainboard: grem53 msi z77a-g43 z77 rg sa
    harddisk: ssd ocz vertex 2

    at sieges with all settings at low i experience kinda bad perfomance for this kind of pc. i have around 5-10 fps at 100-150 ppl fight.

    what u guys made to increase fps for sieges? will it give me more fps if i overclock it abit ? or its useless?

    my connection is 100mbit with 6mbit upload so i guess this should not be the problem.

    windows powerindex is 7,6

    cpu = 7,9
    graphic = 7,8
    ram = 7,9
    ssd = 7,6

    maxium is 7,9 at this index.

    i tested in aden, i have around 10 fps there with most options on high, at this moment the cpu and gpu usage is maximum at 60%, so not even close to max
    i just dont see the problem, i know that the old engine from l2 only use 2 cores and that it is not the best engine but i see some fraps where ppl have kinda nice fps at sieges.

    do i need some sli graphics and ssd to max it out or is there any other way to increase perfomance?

    im looking forward to get some good tips about this.

    thank you very much

    when i used to play i had the similiar fps with my build which really had an end game components which should've ran this game smoothly , but it didnt.

    i had 4690k + gtx 770 + ssd and i was getting the similiar fps as yours + i had to remove a lot of **** in siege and other highly crowded locations.

    it really got into me and i stopped playing this **** , lol. i see people with siege frapses without lag and max settings while my end game machine cant even reach smooth image at lowest settings , bull**** i would say.

    ssd is a must, i don't know if it will raise your fps, but for sure will raise the speed that you load people on sieges, even more on maximum, if someone can answer this is max1mo, he got some fraps at siege with everything on maximum and 100 fps or something like that, was smooth as hell, will try to find it, it's a pleasure to see that video.

    set "do not show cloaks" it gives you 3-10 fps more.

    l2 is based upon a very old and modified unreal2 engine. you just can't get any good improvement on the game unless (as stated before) you guy an ssd drive...

    ssd drive yes, but if u dont have at least sata ii, u dont feel any difference, sata iii is recommended to feel full power of ssd disc.

    his mobo has sata iii.

    your gpu matters ....not. i have ati 4670 and the game runs at decent fps at sieges ( shadows off ofcourse ).
    you don't have to install windows on the same ssd as the game, infact, my windows is installed on my old hdd 7200 rpm and only the game is on the ssd.

    as far as your fps goes, aden is the worst place to test it. my fps goes down there only when i open my inventory, and by down, i mean from ~80 to 2-3 fps.
