[Bug] The Raid Boss slaughterhouse

lots of raid bosses have recently gone missing. and a few were spotted alive, hiding in deepest corners of elmoreden from the rising menace. rumors were saying about a gang of players, who discovered mysterious magic, able to instantly kill even the mightiest of the raids.

ok, i’ll try to be a bit more serious now. the sad news is that we have discovered, that some players are somehow instantly killing raid bosses. this hardly sounded like legit, so we made an investigation. and while reproducing the players’ actions on pts … we dealt 1.5 billion damage to a 99 level raid boss instantly. not funny, is it? so the issue was immediately reported to developers and we are waiting for the issue to be resolved.

according to our investigation instant raid boss kill can’t occur randomly, it requires certain steps to be reproduced. for this reason we are introducing penalties to players, abusing this bug, including the cases that took place before this announcement. the penalties are the following:
- before announcement. character reproducing tremendous damage will be penalized for 10 days with loot confiscation.
- after announcement. character reproducing tremendous damage will be penalized for 30 days with loot confiscation.

so please, show some respect to our raid bosses and kill them … khm … gently.


p.s. if you notice someone abusing this bug, please inform us via support service. your message should include violator's nickname, raid boss name and the time is was killed. your help is much appreciated.

the issue was fixed with today's update. the bug can no more be reproduced. for this reason the thread will be archived within a week.
