Low fps

fps: 38


specs:

intelâ® coreâ„¢ i7-2600k @ 4.2 ghz
sapphire radeon hd 6950 2gb
goodram 8gb (2x4gb) 1333mhz cl9
windows 7 ultimate + service pack 1


any idea what's wrong?
well, 38 fps isn't that low but i am afraid that on siege it'll be worse...
i'd be very grateful for help fixes

 

loooooooool, i'd suggest you strongly to turn off shadows option. it greatly increases fps. also mby adjusting graphics to average. my 2 cents

 

turning shadows off doesn't increase fps, same adjusting graphics does.
well it increases few fps when i lower terrain range etc, but not too much.

ps: now there's more players and fps dropped to ~25

 

what about other cities? gludio? and how about ruins of agony? talking island can be laggy, too much uber textures there

 

same in gludio.

 

turn off shadows and textures to lowest setting. also put "effects" to lowest setting
l2 itself is using a bad engine. its not using all cores of ur processor and is strongly cpu based

 

that's not innova fault, the client is kinda bugged - same **** is on ncwest servers.

guess we will need to wait for any client side fixes.

i can suggest to use ssd hard disk under os and game. the way is, but it is necessary to force or ask to optimize koreans the game engine...)
