How do xp boost work + highest xp boost possible

hi everyone,
i know this topic has always been largely discussed and i think i grasped how the whole xp mechanic works, but i'd like to check if i'm not mistaken, plus ask for the most xp rate possible atm.

so, let's start assuming without pa you get 1x rate, or 100xp (let's keep the numbers small).
the first question raises now: if i buy pa, will all other bonuses be calculated on that new "base xp" (which is twice non-pa chars) or will that still be calculated on the very original base xp? for now i will assume the former, but that's my first question.

now let's start add bonuses: considering pa, we have permanent 200% xp and further "300% xp bonus applied" when vitality is up", but it's not clear to me whether that 300 refers to the 200% pa gives or it just turns the 200 into 300. however, considering i happened to make 2 kartias in a row one with and the other without vit, and one gave me 4b and the other 3b, i guess the latter applies, so now we are at 3x the original base one with just pa and vitality.

speaking about vitality, there are also those sweet freya scrolls who add 100% xp, that while consuming it much faster, they work very nice with replenishing buffs like herb, birthday potions or cakes. 400%, or 4x, reached this way.

now l2store comes into help for even more cheesy powerlevel: best item is 200% rune for certain, and ex-nevit yellow potion works just fine too. i think both refer to base exp, and while it's still not clear if its the original or the "new pa base xp" i will assume it's the latter, meaning another additional 100% from rune and 50% from nevit, bringing the grand total of 550%.

last, and actually in this case least important ones are mentor and blessing of light, 5+3% for the final 558%, or 5,58x i can come up with, provided i didn't make any mistake.

i know there are 2 more ways to raise xp under the form of emperor scroll and dragons buff, but i didnt' mention those because from my experience they do not stack with some others, and better, i already included (specifically freya scrolls), plus dragon isn't always accessible.

if we consider what can always be up and working, i think it would be along the line of "pa+rune+nevit+emperor+mentor+light"=100+100+50+30+5+3=2,88x, or 388%.

it's really simple. you are trying to over think this.

100% (base)
100% (pa)
100% (vit)
100% (rune)
100% (freya scroll)
50% (xp 50% bottle)
5% (mentee)
3% (light blessing)
-----------------
558 % xp

so in order to do the math correctly, say you kill a mob for 1,000,000 xp. multiply that by 5.58 and you have your final xp number. this only applies at level 96 and above however. 95 and below you can apply more boost from l2 store. with dragon buff you add another 100%. on double xp you add another 100% on as well. there is one standard 100% base, the base value never changes.

base xp is what you would get from a mob regardless of boosts/double xp/pa/anything.

 

actually on double xp event basic xp/sp is doubled in server settings so every boost is doubled as well. using your example on double xp event you would get 2x558%=1116%

 

i'm a little skeptical of this to say the least.
so if your math is correct, with 0 boost during a non-double xp event. i get 1,000,000 per mob.
so with 2x xp/runes/vit/nevits/pa/ yada yada i should be getting 11,160,000. somehow i don't think thats entirely accurate.

insert shameless request for double xp event for testing purposes ofc. :sneaky:

 

thanks for confirm, my math was right but i wasn't sure it worked this way.

for double exp i guess we can expect it for a couple weeks before the update to io, but i agree with nadmaster it should work like every other "2x" boost, as to say "add 100% base exp". we'll see anyway.

 

the double xp event take all of your bonuses and then make it *2. tested (with some nasty 30kkk+ octavis) during the last double event (november iirc)

 

god that's juicy, provided it works for sp too.

 

double xp event doubles base xp/sp. so while yes, if some bonus gives you 50kk without double xp event, they will give 100kk with double xp event, it doesn't affect the % bonus itself in relation with xp.

 

pa 100% * vit +100% (pa vit 200)+ freya +100% + dragon buff +100% + xp buff +50% + rune 50%/100%/200%, also do not forget that 1-85 1-95 1-99 will stack together + mentor buff +50% (or mentee +5%) + light astle buff 3% also angel at buff i think stacks with them so +30% as well erteias an raft diferent xp runes do not know if they stack with normal runes.

1-85: max ~+1033% +maybe erteia runes
85-95 max ~+883% +maybe erteia runes
95-99 max ~+783% +maybe erteia runes

and if it is double xp event - double final number: 2066%, 1766% and 1566%.
