How to update the launcher?

every time i try to start l2 from the 4game's website, it warns me that there is a new update for the launcher, and i should update it. there is two things to choose from, one "later" which basically closes the windows and does nothing, the other is "update" which also does nothing. if i hit update my pc starts probably the updater of the launcher, a command line window flashes, then disappears and nothing happens. it does not update, the game does not start...

someone tell me please how to update it properly, or start the game without updating the launcher.

spec: win 7 ulti. 64bit, all every necessary stuff installed.

 

yup.. same problem, still no soluction

 

remove 4game from the configuration panel>add/remove programs, then go to https://eu.4game.com/lineage2/ and instal the new one . choose the folder where your client is already installed otherwise it will download all the client again.
