[Bug] Party Loot

party loot is always finders keepers for "attention" drops.
when doing raids, kamalokas, etc... the person who picks items from the floor always get them in inventory, no matter party was random, by turn, by mafia or by lottery.

 

what are attention drops? i havent seen any drops that act as you described.

i said "attention" drop to indicate intere drops, the ones you get a system message "attention: xxxx has picked up yyyyyyy"
and i am not wrong. on 200 random loot parties drops, 199 drops go in the inventory of the player who picked it up from the ground.
i am 100% sure there is a bug somewhere.

 

no bug. simply the message shows who got the drop, not who picked it up.

ex: random pt, person a picks up full drop, person b gets it by random. the announcement says b picked it up, not a.

 

what previous person said is probably what has you confused.

 

i almost never pick up drops, since i'm an archer and in party i've gotten a few full drops. so, it's working alright.

 

well, it could be you are right and i am wrong...
but it's strange to me that the only drop i got is the only one i picked up from the floor, in more than 200 drops seen in random loot parties...
ok, i am epically unlucky, but "law of large numbers" is not working properly!

 

well, i've also gotten drops without picking them up myself, from kamas.
so, you're probably just on the lower part of the bell curve.

 

i confirm it's a bug.
another laba made today, 3 drops. a player picked up beab and pieces (of i don't remember what) and got them. the other one picked up a ring of black ore and obtained it.
come on, it's not a case, it's not a single case. it happens to me everyday, all the time.

 

are you sure of the following things:

1) that the party isnt set on finders keepers
2) that the person you see in the system message getting the item is the same as the person physically using the pick up button

i have been in many laba/raid parties, always on random/random incl spoil and i never pick up but i get drops so from my view its not bugged for me at least.

acording to you the person that pick it up cant get it in random?
and its 2 times not like 1k times.
also there is no bug, we had lots of drops in random across our dds(supports looting)

i said, on about 200 drops, 199 went in the inventory of the person who picked up.
but anyway, probably there is no bug.
i'll try to pick up faster in any case.
