Little Wing's Big Adventure : The Strider Quest

hello,
i try to do this quest. can someone explain how i can do this. i read lot of guide, seems to be useless.

my hatching hits the tree for 1 hour (with pause until the tree regen a little, i'm a tyrant) and it doesnt drink sap. i always have 4 leaves in my inventory.

is this quest bugged ?

edit: i have done it, it take me 4 hours... or how expend lifetime of game... you can lock thread.

 

its random time, i did 3 trees in 10min each and last one (star one) toke me more than hour
