    Hello

So i still have a lot to learn about the game so i read stuff on wiki etc. But it's something i do not get. I'm sorry if it sounds like a totally silly question for you ^_^"

so i want to roll a dreadnought Tyrr.
So i'm not sure which armor heavy or light would be better for both PVP and PVE..well as i read on passive skill probably light is better for PVE till higher lvls?

But i'm more confused on PVP. Because someone told me heavy is better against daggers? But why? i read that heavy passive gives hp, p. def and some STR (more. based p.def..ok) but Light gives -35% crit dmg + more stats.
Which sounds to be better against more classes? Is the extra base p. def of heavy that makes a very big difference?

Long post, sorry :D i hope you understand my question and clarify. I'm just trying to learn

    edit: 1 more thing xD
i saw that dual weapon mastery gives much more p.atk +atk speed compared to polearm master. Sould i focus on duals instead of spear...? I liked the class for the polearm weapon :D

when you farm, you'll do waaayyyyy more dmg by normal attacks than by your AoE skills. That's why a pole is better to farm. Ofc, it'll lack damage in single damage output, but a tyrr should have 2 weapons (yeah, it's expensive...).

For the light bonus, iirc, it's -35% chance to be hit by a critical hit, not the crit damage (I may be wrong, cannot check atm). But we're not even sure it works.

The best for a tyrr is, imo, a +8 light set (even twilight may do the job, but you'll lack pdef on the long run). The +7 speed and -10% cd are just too good.

hey ty for reply. so pole is not good in pvp in matter of dmg compared with duals...but just for the aoe stuns etc?

"Chance of receiving a critical attack - 35%" i guess i made confusion between the terms. So it's not crit. dmg. But it refers to "attacks" as normal or skill attack?
and from where is the -10% CD coming from? light passive gives +10% atk speed, does this mean influences cd? or....?

    "Max HP + 5368, P. Def. + 1959, Atk. Spd. + 10%, P. Accuracy + 3, P. Evasion + 6, Speed + 10, and P. Accuracy + 3. Chance of receiving a critical attack - 35%. STR + 2."

Light set is good for pve or for oly when playing against mages/healers. I wouldn't recommend it vs daggers.
On your question about tyrr for both PvE and PvP - no such thing exist. You will never be good at both, even if you think you are.

i understand what you mean. It's a difference between wanting to be pro at both and to be viable for both jobs. I was refering to the last one. But ty for the input on armor.

    Viable - yes, it's possible.
The passive on light armor works for skills, but IF they hit you, it's "ouch ouch ouch".

About your question on the polearm mastery , it works like this :

You have the general tyrr weapon mastery, which doesn't stack with the dual sword mastery, but it does stack with polearm mastery. So basically when you equip your duals, you aren't receiving the weapon mastery, but only the dual weapon mastery ( as far as patk and atk.speed are concerned. The +3 STR always applies AFAIK ). You don't need duals at all, they're worthless on DN. The only thing you might possibly need is 2h sword, to use for raid bosses, but as mentioned above it's quite expensive luxury :)

P.S (after reading your questions) : The atk speed does NOT affect cdr.

The -10% cd comes from the +8 set bonus : if you watch a piece of armor, you'll have a lot of information :
-the bonuses you gain by having 2,3,...,n piece of this set (note that a set can have 2 options (light can be enchant (i.e : patk) or assassin (i.e : evasion)), and if you've 2 parts in 1 option, and the 3 others in the second option, you won't have the bonuses of the full set.
-Then are listed the bonuses for having the full set enchanted to +6 at least (every single part. Having a blessed part and normal ones together will grant the bonuses if all parts are +6++)
-Then are listed the bonuses for having full set +7++ (Those bonus DOES stack with the +6++ bonuses)
-And eventually the bonus for having +8++ set

For the light armor, iirc (at work atm) :
    - +6 bonuses : a bit of mdef, a bit of evasion, resist debuff (this one is why the +6 set in good) and mp regen
    - +7 bonuses : Vampiric rage (lulz), skill mastery (LF information on this one, is it additive with the +1000% yul passive, or multiplicative ?)
    - +8 bonuses : -10% cd, +7speed (both of those bonuses are trully awesome).

    Kushyina,

about heavy vs daggers, maybe you heard of duelist passive.
It gives -35% crit dmg when using heavy armor.

In case of other tyrrs it is just p def difference, if I am not mistaken.
