i wouldnt buy a uhd monitor, but the chose is simple, asus 144hz monitor. why? simple looks much better then 60/75h best chose for fps games like CSGO.
point is im not playing fps games and i would like to watcha a movies as well on it so not sure if is even worth
I've got Asus PG278Q (I guess its the older version of this one you talk about, didn't check) and I'm very happy with it, so from this 2 I'd for sure get the Asus. I mostly play CS on it and I love to not have any tearing because of G-Sync. Also the 27'' is more than enough for L2/movies etc. I didn't even think of getting a bigger one than that when I got new PC.
do you see any diference in movies ? from old monitor it is more realistic ? yes your old model is TN this new one is IPS
I don't usually watch movies on PC but tried one now and so far it looks very nice, as far as I remember same as old monitor
for that price go for a TV. that "soap opera effect" is pretty annoying when you used to watch 24 fps movies
