Want to start again, torn between three classes

Hey there,


I've had a fairly long break from Lineage 2 but since I just started studying, I realized I have so much free time and I want to spend some of it in the world of Aden again.

Since it has been a while since I last played I want to start over a new char (my others were not really high level, so nothing wrong with that) and I am basically torn between:

1) Wynn Spectral Master
2) Sigel Phoenix Knight
3) Aeore Eva's Saint

I want to be able to level up to 85 solo and after that to find party easily. I love instances and (Mass-)PvP.
Now I don't know, do people still play here? Or do they leave for the new NCWest Zaken server? Or is the server dead, because all people will quit to play an L2Classic?


Also, what is the best way to get awakened? Leveling the Quest chain with mentor and PA, and after 65 d0 Hellmann every 4h?

Ncwest zaken getting demolished by bots already. I think nobody care about it.

If you like masspvp i would go for tank or healer, tanks are really welcome nowdays in masspvp since archers got huge boost.

I'll try to do it point by point. Nothing to worry about NcBot. I think number of players will drop due to Classic, but it, imo, won't last, because mainly people are interested in Classic because of their memories. Not because of the endless hours of grinding, to lose your weekly xp in 3 deaths. There will be a ton of players at the beginning tho'.

About the classes :
- Wynn got a nice boost, and are viable. They're not the "lolilol dps one shot" class of the moment, I called Yul. You will maybe have some issues to find a CP with this class, but you can still make it your dual (or main and mainly play your dual in group).
- Sigel are, as Trigger stated, really usefull, because of their defensive skills to counter the current damage output of DDs. The choice of the moment when it comes to do a CP is : 2 Healers / 1 Iss / 1 Tank / 3 DDs or even 3 Healers / 1 Iss / 1 Tank / 2 DDs (plus the PoM box isses), and not a lot of people likes playing tank.
- Aeore. Well. See the composition above to understand the need of healers. You will be needed, be it in instances of mass pvp (or even lower scale pvps)

About leveling, 2 options : the fastest, and the most time efficient.
-Fatest : With PA+Mentor, just do the chain quest to 85. If you're active enough, should be few days.
-Time Efficient : Level to 62-63 (Hellman is 71 iirc), do Hellman, DC. Log 3h55 after, do Hellman, DC. Good if you're playing other games at the same time, not efficient otherwise. XP is really easy with PA/Mentor.

Also, free tip : Remember to have a mentor (doesn't matter if on at this moment or not) when you awaken, otherwise you'll miss the free R-grade stuff, and end up naked.

 

Any Suggestions in which sigel, wynn or aeore to take?

As Sigel I would take either Pala or SK i think. Also heard good things about Eva's Templar.
But I don't know how good they are nowadays.

 

if u want to find pt easily go for heal, its lowest gear requirement to get yourself a party even at best xp spots (dds requirements are at minimum pve weapons, and tanks with good set on them, and for healer is.. what ever u are wearing is ok... )
