moderator (from lat. moderator - moderate, restrain) - a user who has more rights than ordinary users on the public network resources.

thus moderator is not just the user with a beautiful highlighted nickname of some fancy color.

moderator is the keeper of order on the forum. the main principles of the moderator are:

1. all users are equal concerning the regulations;
2. the actions have nothing to do with emotions;
3. respect (at least in writing) towards all users;
4. responsibility for committed actions;
5. forum rules - the guarantor of righteousness;
6. toleration;
7. literacy;
8. accuracy, clarity and a maximum validity of the replica;
9. the ability to quickly assess the situation;

 

nb: all the candidates will run a 2 week trial and if any complaints or concerns will be recieved from users we will have to reconsider your candidacy. after the trial the best candidates will keep the moderator's status.

due to a huge number of applications for moderators we received ( and we are delighted) we have to announce that each and everyone is welcome to take part in the 2 weeks trial - we will not give new people the rights to moderate yet, but it does not mean that the ones who are already moderating will remain in charge. it is all up to you - users will post their comments about this or that person moderating, and if they like it - they leave a note.
