In this experiment, it is going to be checked how does increased «Reflect Damage» work together with «PvP Defense». The experiment consists of two parts. In the first part, «Reflect Damage» skill was increased, in the second part – «PvP Defense» skill. Attacker: Sayha's Seer, having all the skills, but without any buffs. Equipment: Amaranthine Caster Acumen Target: 105 lvl Iss Hierophant, having all the skills. Buffs depend on the test. Equipment: Eternal Leather Set (depends on the test) Then, the bonuses were added one by one to enhance «Reflect Damage». Sayha's Seer was attacking the target with «Hydro Attack» skill. The results are stated below: № Pic. Bonuses Damage Reflect Percent 1 Item Skill: Reflect Damage Lv. 3 (Passive) 1411 282 20% 2 Item Skill: Reflect Damage Lv. 3 (Active) 1552 621 40% 3 Daring Sonata 1568 784 50% 4 Blessed Valakas' Necklace 1096 603 55% In the second part, bonuses were also added to «PvP Defense», one at a time, assuming that that target had 55% reflect damage. The attacker was using «Hydro Attack»: № Pic. PvP Defense Damage Reflect Percent 1 Heavy Dark Eternal Set +8 772 531 68,8% 2 Cloak of Radiant Light 758 642 84,7% 3 Ruler's Authority 538 529 98,3% 4 Shiny Elemental Shirt +10 557 578 103,8% Summary: as it can be seen from the results, both «Reflect Damage» and «PvP Defense» were influencing received and reflected damage correlation.
So I was looking at the numbers and thought: cool, these numbers mean reflected damage is calculated before PvP defense is applied. Then I saw that he takes more damage after shiny shirt +10, which I wonder how is it possible considering it adds a number of stats (mdef on item, -3% received damage passive, and +4 MEN which should increase mdef)?
It would be better if we could see the reflect resist, not just the reflect that you can stack... Also, this test has a major fail that is not addressed. I have done many tests regarding reflect damage, both pve and pvp, and I can say that this "test" doesn't even cover half of what needs to be tested in order to have proper results, that are actually usefull.
